Anyone seen this? Bed, Bath and Beyond carries it.
Oh yummy!
It's some good stuff. I did a google search and there is a site for the recipe. Going to check that out now.

I've not heard of it, but it looks interesting. I might have to get some to share next time I get together with friends.

yes I posted about it here quite a while back then more recently someone else posted about it. We all agree it is definitely yummy stuff! I got it originally at Costco but have since seen it in various stores including Kroger.

Let's see if I can think of what products I'm enamored with lately. Oh, I got a starter kit for Bare Minerals make-up for Christmas and I am impressed. I'm not crazy about putting foundation primer on my face every day though so I still switch things up. I've been in love with Revlon Age-Defying liquid make-up for many, many years and I don't think I'll totally give that up until I'm forced to. My current body lotion is Malibu Tan Hemp Body Lotion from Walmart. The main moisturizing ingredient is actually coconut oil but it also has hemp oil, sunflower seed oil, tea tree oil, sesame oil, olive oil, jojoba oil - my skin feels so soft - I love it. Mary Kay Satin Hands kit has transformed my hands.I swear it took a few years off of them. It's 3 parts - you rub in a Vaseline type base, then you exfoliate, rinse and apply a moisturizer. I got the kit half-price - I couldn't pay $34 for it, as much as I love it. When it's gone I'm just going to use Vaseline, St. Ives Apricot Scrub or something like that and then moisturizer. I do love the MK moisturizer so I may replace that if I can't find another good hand moisturizer that I like. Please, someone try that process on your hands with the Vaseline and scrub and tell me if it works!

I usually get it at Costco but have found it at Kroger recently so it seems some grocery stores are picking it up. I have to say I was disappointed in the most recent package. She has changed how it is made why do they do that! It originally was made in one big sheet and just broken up into random pieces which was perfect. Now she is making it in little squares which makes it thicker and have the cooked edge it is not nearly as good as the original thinner random pieces with no edges. I sure wish I had known because I would not have bought it. It also now comes in a salted caramel flavor and a toffee and a mint chocolate chip so pay attention when buying it. here is a link to the find a store in your area search FIND A STORE In this picture of the package you can see how now it is shaped into squares not just random pieces. I've seen it there for the past couple of months and wondered how it tasted. It sure looks good. I recently bought a container of mini pecan cakes. I was disappointed as there is not much pecan flavor and a little too sweet for my taste. Even so, I still managed to finish off the box lol

My method is perfect for brownie brittle. And yes it's hard like peanut brittle. You just break it into pieces by hand. Buy a pkg of chocolate brownie mix, 10 oz size. I buy Marie Callender's, from Dollar Tree, but Betty Crocker has one at Wall Mart. Both are the fudge brownie mixes and both work. Just follow the recipe below for the brittle Add to the mix, 1 egg, 1/4 cup water, 1/4 cup oil. Spray a cookie sheet, the one I use is 15 x 10.***I NOW use parchment paper which I spray the corners on the bottom to keep it from sliding. Spread the batter thinly all over the cookie sheet and evenly. I use a spatula. Then with fingers, take chocolate morsels and sprinkle about 1/2 cup or more over the batter. Bake 325 for 30 minutes. Turn oven off and let sit inside oven for 30 more minutes. Brownies will be hard. Let them cool completely, and make sure the chocolate morsels are cooled and hard. Lift up at one end with a fork, and break into pieces. Store in an airtight container. Eat and enjoy!

Brownie Brittle Recipe

1 pkg brownie mix

1/2 cup chocolate chips (or whatever flavor you want, butterscotch, vanilla, etc.)

1 egg (as on brownie mix pkg.)

1/4 cup oil (or what the brownie mix calls for)

1/4 cup water (this is a little more than called for on the package)

13"x9" pan sprayed with baking spray

Preheat oven to 300

Mix ingredients together and pour a thin layer in the bottom of the pan, or spread a thin layer evenly.

Sprinkle your chocolate chips on top and bake in 300 degree oven until it feels firm.

Then let it cool on a rack.

Break it up and enjoy.

Here's my Brownie Brittle story. I found it after Christmas at a Wal-mart near us. Thought it looked interesting, so I got a bag. Checked the price and it was 75% off and only 65 cents!!! I figure it must have been a Christmas item, but put in the regular cookie section.

I opened it and couldn't put it down!! SO GOOD! Didn't think it would be so light and crunchy. Brittle sounds harder. Went back to Wal-mart and snatched up 4-5 more bags. Served it for Book Club and everyone liked it.

I saw some at Costco, but did not think having a bag that big would be a good idea! Was afraid I'd eat all of that too! Went back to Wal-mart, but someone must have found the bargain because they were all gone :(
