Great tips thanks! I'm puter challenged too. I'm wondering, can you add thumbnails like that to emails? Does it depend what email your using? (I use thunderbird) Also, can we save a complete thread here? Seems like the clippings thing just saves one message? And the searches lose pictures when they are old? You need to resize. 1. Got to "edit" 2. Hit "resize" 3. You can set the size in first box at 320; or, you can click on "Preset Sizes" and click on each of the three sizes to preview how your photo will look. Keep the one that works the best for you. Linda PS: It's all trial and error. :-)

I have noticed ALOT of members posting pictures from PhotoBucket & then when you click on the thumbnail to enlarge the picture, the picture comes up with a link on the top right to the rest of the pictures in the photo album. How is this avoided????? Dont look! If you dont want too...:) Everyone...you do realize that gives EVERYONE access to every picture in the album and the ability to copy it. I just worry especially if there a family pictures that one may want to keep private... I asked all my family members if it is okay to post their pictures...:) I am a new gardener and am very proud of my accomplishments :) If they want to steal it..I am honored...I might change my mind in a few years we will see..:) Good subject you brought up..:)

A set up as simple as a plain off-white tablecloth rigged three sides around a glass, you can let it flow or snap it tightly to whatever framework you made. The light sources are outside and a short distance from the fabric. Ideally, you want the entire fabric to 'glow', not just one bright spot where the light is. Place the glass on a pedestal (a cake stand under the cloth works well). Place the contraption in natural light if you can. If you must use room lights, diffuse them by putting a fabric between light and glass. If you use a flash, only use remote flash-don't use flash that's built onto the camera. I have successfully highlighted etching by stuffing a sock into the glass. It looks really strange but the fabric gives light and shadow a place to rest. And it's easier to upend the glass (rest it on its rim instead of its pedestal) and focus down onto the outside of the bowl. You'll pick up more detail.
