helen, I am visiting the Oklahoma forum regularly now because of you talking about it. They are a dedicated bunch of gardeners and I am really enjoying it. Dawn is the one who sent me onion plants. I have been following her story closely. It's always the same way; when you bring up wild varmints online controversy arises. Sometimes it gets a little ugly too. I agree. Dawn saw the darned cat! She is not a hysterical person or someone who makes things up. It has got to be frustrating for her. I won't go out very far after dark. I am a coward about dark. A neighbor called us a couple of years ago who said she was driving home just after dark and saw a huge cat with a long tail sail over our fence and cross the road and go into the neighbor's field. She thought it was a cougar. A near neighbor swears there is a mother who has been in the area for several years and that he has seen her and her two babies several times. He lives on Asher Creek. He also says the conservation people won't listen to him. I have never seen one myself. My vet who is very trustworthy said he has seen a picture of one laying asleep on top of a round bale of hay taken by one of his clients. They have a trailer sales in town on Kearney Street. We asked her about it when we bought the trailer for the mower and she went into details about it. I certainly believe her. To tell you the truth, with all these stories floating around, I am a bit uneasy going to the back of the farm on foot. I usually take the ATV. DH recently got a 22 pistol that he takes with him all the time. Something with a large mouth has been eating the melons. It sure looks too large for a possum or raccoon. I have been looking at trail cameras. I would love to see what goes on at night in the garden! I know something is there every night. I keep forgetting to spread lime around. I must do that. I dump all compostables over the garden fence but I don't toss meat scraps anymore thinking it might draw unwanted meat eaters. We also have lots of dogs around....one neighbor has 6 that come running down their lane when we walk that direction. I don't like that either. Stay safe.

All, I was just pointing out a modicum of truth to the cartoon--which made it funny to myself and a friend. The same friend directed me to this forum about a year ago by saying, "you have to check out this website. These people are fanatical about ranges." He went on, "especially the âÂÂbattleâ between the Blue Star and the Capital Culinarian." So I've been reading for quite some time. My interest is from the standpoint of the release of a new cooking product and how the initial rollout is received by the business, or on the residential side in this case, the people. As I've stated, I don't own one so only could make comments derived from the following posts (which I did not write) which are titled: "culinarian oven racks are disappointing" and âÂÂwok use on the culinarian wok grate observationâ Does anyone know if the rolling racks are the same in a self-clean oven and a manual clean oven? Is the issue with the racks caused by a self-clean cycle? Best, Lew

I'm a homeowner, too, and I can empathize, but I think you're stuck with this. You made a decision that turned out not to be the best in the longrun, and the contractor and you had some miscommunication. Unless the contractor can modify the space, then I don't know that there is a happy resolution. We've all made decisions that turned out less than wonderful, and sometimes it's best not to put more energy into determining who is to blame, or in beating yourself up. I'd be much better off financially if I could turn back time and not purchase a lot of things (special Italian wire shelving, drawers and slides for the kitchen we never remodeled; the Mexican timeshare; the red suede shoes...). Resolve to move forward and enjoy the new bathroom. Put this item on eBay and note that it's available for local pickup, or advertise on your local Craigslist.

Wow, I saw the table tonight.... it's beautiful - the junker in me feels a little guilty mosaiking such a nice table! LOL But, the surface is nice sized (more than I imagined) we should have noooo problem fitting the border and all the animals aaaaaannnnd a good amt of fill. That was a real concern for me, that we might not get that good balance of fill to subjects. Whew! DD's teacher wrote of this project in the parent newsletter that I got tonight. (blush) She said the nicest things - sounded like you all! lol Maybe this will bring her back to glass work, she'd fit right in here! I'm just dying to get to this... I bought some black grout but I may change my mind once I see it all glued down.
