Oh, I was a paper doll fanatic....I even made some of mine. The very favorites were the Dionne quints. I'd have gone absolutely batty to have those that you posted available!

Those are really cute.

When my kids were smaller I put paper dolls and clothes onto magnetic sheets (I think you can get them to print directly on now) and they could put them on the refrigerator and dress them up.

I also would put their face onto the dolls body.

Those are cute. I only have one grand daughter that likes paperdolls. I've been giving her some I get from Mary Engelbreit's magazines, but I think she'll love these as well.

I've always loved paper dolls! Neva and I used to cut the people out of catalogs, paste them on cardboard and then cut out clothes for them.

I loved paper dolls too and had many when I was a little girl. My Mom used to talk about her paper dolls that had real hair.

I wish I could find a compatible printer for this computer because I would love to print some up for my Great Niece and myself of course. LOL

I was another paper doll fanatic. I spent most of my childhood making my own--with some help from my mom, who was an artist. I thought for sure I'd grow up to be a clothing designer or fashion illustrator, which is pretty funny because I am decidedly not fashion-oriented today.

I had found some a couple of years ago online, too. They look like these. We clipped them and had fun playing with them.

I'm thinking that a kit could be made up with a small pair of childrens scissors and sold at bazaars.

Do you think anyone would buy them?

I loved paper dolls when I was young. I remember having some of the current movie stars with their fancy clothes and accessories. We would play with them for hours.

I remember when I was a teenager I would spend hours making clothes for my paper dolls. I remember cutting out pictures of girls from Seventeen magazine and designing clothes coloured by magic markers for them to wear. This was the hot pants stage. LOL I still have them somewhere around here stuffed into a brown envelope. I used to do this while babysitting after the kids were in bed.

Ivamae - I believe the designs have a copyright. It wouldn't be right to print them and resell them.

It would make a fun gift though.

I haven't posted for a long,long, time although I have lurked! I am one of the old-timers so the paper dolls I had were the celebrities of the 1940's. I had a suit box full with the likes of Sonja Henie,Judy Garland, Ziegfield Follies, Betty Grable Gone with the Wind. Also WW2 military.
If you have ever seen any of the paper dolls from this era I am sure you would agree they were some of the most beautiful sets printed. The outfits from the Ziefield set was especially gorgeous. Boo,hoo sorry to say these were not saved. Oh, how I would enjoy looking at those again.
