SW universal khaki, relexed or wool skein?

have you used any of these paint colors? would you mind posting a photo? I really like all 3 but i'm wondering if Universal khaki is too dark. Or if wool skein is too light. Sounds like i should go in the middle with the relaxed but i'm not sure. This would be for the entire house paint job once it is built.

Search jillandmatt on the kitchens forum. I think she used relaxed khakis on her beautiful kitchen walls. All the best!

i just5 used wool skein on the walls and universal khaki for the trim on a room in our basement.Will post pics when it gets light out.

Especially in bedrooms, I start with the fabrics first as it's much easier to match a paint to a fabric than the other way around. Do you know what you want to do for bedding, window treatments, art work, carpets? If you have one of them to steer you, then picking a wall color will be much easier.

My entire house is painted SW6148 Wool Skein, a "safe" color recommended by our realtor. It is not too dark for us. It does however have a slight green undertone and thus does not coordinate well with a basic beige color. We used SW6150 Universal Khaki as the accent color under the chair rails. My ceilings, plantation blinds and all woodwork are white which helps to brighten the space.

The base color(wool skein) is finished already in the image above. The house was taupe before with faded burgundy shutters. I did not want my shutters to have a lot of contrast,be ause I wanted the brick to stand out. We painted the shutters relaxed khaki which is one shade darker on the same paint strip as wool skein. I love the how it looks. I have never heard of "green earth". Will look it up now! Thank you for responding!

I just had an interior decorator help me with my colors, (my taupe greige issue) and for one of the rooms she suggested relax khaki, and said she had use it often in different houses with different lighting and was always beautiful. Good luck.

I've actually used all three...I love them all! They just seem so versatile and I loved mixing and matching them with other colors. I even used the relaxed khaki to paint my dated oak kitchen cabinets in my last house. For my new home I used wool skein as the main color in the open spaces ( kitchen , great room, hall ways) I did that because one of the builders who posts on the builders forum said that was his go to color. He posted pictures of several of his homes and I really liked them. It seemed like a good choice and I was tired of making decisions, LOL. I don't regret it at all. For contrast, I ended up using darker colors in my bathrooms and some of my bedrooms.
