Dang Nabit!!! The P-trap is easy. Just tighten a bit more. Not too much if plastic, you can strip it. The DW is going to be either the fill or the drain. The fill should have a cutoff under the sink: turn off the water. This again may be a connection that needs to be tightened down a little more. The drain on the KA is just a hose, but it has a clamp on the pump/motor end and another at the airgap (do you have one of these?) or the GD end. (I assume the first time it drained you heard/saw the water going through the GD?) In terms of 'high loop' (and no airgap) the hose needs to be mounted so that there is a high point in the line somewhere. It connects to a short section of hose at the bottom of the washer with a provided clamp. Maybe the clamp is missing or is in the wrong place. Anyway, this isn't rocket science and you need perhaps someone else to look at it. A plumber is not necessary, perhaps just a handyman. Or someone else who knows which end of a screwdriver and pliers are to be used in this instance.

I would make it personal. Someone who has touched your life some how. Here's an example of what we did, but we only have one picture like this. We built a Rumford fireplace. It's a specific way to build it and was very popular in the 1700 or 1800s, I forget. You can't build a better FP to give off heat, which is why we had it custom made. At the time, there were only two other Rumford FP's in our state. We did a lot of research before we built it and come to find out a man named Count Rumford is the one who invented it. My dh would marry the Count if he were still alive. lol. One day for the heck of it I looked up Count Rumford at art.com. Sure enough, they had THE neatest "old" picture of him. I gave it to my dh for his birthday and it was like Christmas for him. The funny thing is, when people come over they look at his picture but don't say anything. Most people hang these types of pictures just to have one. Finally we tell them who it is and the story behind him. And then they're fascinated! And he's hanging right next to the fireplace, of course. :) To make a long story even longer, find someone who has affected your life in a good way. And as Les said, they don't have to be famous. My personal feelings is that pictures of people hanging on our walls (not family) shouldn't be hung just because it's a nice picture, but they have to have some sort of meaning to us before we hang them. I'd never hang a stranger on my wall, it would seem creepy.

Sheryl, I went through the loss of my husband 2 years ago - I am feeling your pain. He loved the sun and water and Florida. We lived in Missouri and had the big house on the lake and the boat - he was living a part of his dream. He would have retired in May, 2007 - he passed away in April, 2007 from pancreas cancer. We had planned to retire to Florida in the fall of 2007. When he was near the end of this horrid journey, he told me to go ahead and move to Florida, which I did - he said he would go with me in spirit - I feel his presence every day. Yes, he would have absolutely loved living here! Every day, I feel a bit guilty to be living in paradise, in a place we should be enjoying together, but it wasn't meant to be, but he is with me in spirit. Please enjoy your vacation and take your husband's spirit with you. Spend some time alone and heal your soul if you can - the ocean is great therapy!

Thanks all for your comments. I live in Alabama for those that asked. As far as restrictions go, there are none as far as redeeming the voucher. The reason i narrowed it down to those options was because they are relatively close, and although we are looking forward to getting away, we cant take a very long vacation. SO is a truck driver and can take off as he wishes, but i cant and have to work around my coworkers to take my vacation. I would prefer to be settled back at home 2 or 3 days before i have to return to work if possible. I would love to take a couple months and go explore the castles in Europe,its just not feasible right now. I asked SO about going to Scotland, (half-jokingly) and he said, : "Wherever you want to go my love, but I'm not wearing a skirt." :OP Anyway, history doesn't interest him as much as it does me, and i want this to be more fun for HIM, as he takes such good care of me all the time. He works 6 days a week, up to 12 hours a day driving, and i work 12 hour night shifts 4-6 nights a week. I want to just go somewhere, and let someone else worry about entertaining me. I dont want to have to rent a car, plan any activity, worry about logistics once we get there. Not this time. I want to look at whats offered and say "lets do that" and let someone else take care of the details. (Hence the choices i picked) To add to the confusion, this morning, for some reason, SO started to actually take an interest in this topic (go figure) and has been wearing google out all day. So we may end up on Mars for all I know. ;o) We are going to get our passports this week. I wonder if that will suffice on Mars?????
