Opinion on door knob finish, please

We have a 1920's Colonial and all the knobs are brass/glass but with their age the brass isn't shiny. I've picked a SS faucet for the kitchen and am waivering between brushed or polished pulls for the cabinets (subject for another post, LOL). The nook area which will now be open to the kitchen is going to get a french door out onto a new deck (yay); but I have to choose a lock set for the door. We don't want shiny brass as none of our brass is shiny. Do I go with stainless? Or maybe ORB? The light fixture that will go in that room is likely ORB unless I can find a SS/BN lamp I love. Leaning toward this fixture from Ballard:
