Well we bought a house and we close on April 1st I am so excited, I prayed all week that we would get this house, its so pretty, big kitchen and I love it. Its been remodeled and everything in it is brand new stove etc..

I am getting married Sept 1st. We are gonna have small private wedding probably by the Judge and then we are going on a 7 day cruise to the Bahamas.........

What a Great year

Does anyone have a problem with smaller loads becoming unbalanced. I've owned the washer 2 weeks and have done approximately 15 loads and so far 2 have given me the uE error and extended the wash to rebalance the load. One load didn't recognize it was unbalanced but the tub was almost violently swaying side to side, the sheets were balled up on one side, and there wasn't enough water in there to move the clothes at all. This was only one set of queen sheets. I stopped the cycle, redistributed everything and the pressed the extra water button. It seemed a little better after this, but it's frustrating that I find myself needing to watch every load to make sure it's working properly. To me it seems the washer works better with larger loads, but does not work so well with smaller loads. Has anyone else come to this conclusion? Also, my washer has never had any jet spray action, where it's spinning very fast and the water is shooting from the top onto the clothes. Is this normal? Should I see this on every wash? Another issue I'm having is I was using powder detergent (only half of what is recommended by Tide on the box)...and after each wash cycle I stopped it and looked in the dispenser and over half of the detergent was still inside. This happened on every wash, cold, warm, hot, it didn't matter. I emailed LG and attached a picture and their response was to switch to liquid detergent. And my last question is, has anyone noticed the tub "creeking?" This started about 5 washes ago and it creeks like an old rocking chair. I can hear it from the next room with the door closed. I'm wondering if I need to have a service person come out.

Well DH and I picked the table up today and got it home...as soon as we got it home DH started with how really great this table is and how HE really LIKES it and how he THINKS it would be a great table to use in the DINING ROOM! Well I told DH it isn't happening LOL.... I really think he wanted me to get the table for him LOL! He seemed kinda mad about it........but like my son to him you said for her get it for the sewing room..........and after all Mom did all the leg work and negotiating LOL.. But what is really going to blow his mind is when I tell hime I am taking the white wood cabinet I bought out of the kitchen LOL...hehehehe Red

That's really a Happy Ending to that story, You did Good! Recalls something that happened to me a few weeks ago. To back up, about 7 years ago, my husband, while out washing his car, saw a car stop in the neighborhood & a little puppy get dumped. We rounded her up & brought her home. She was the cutest thing, but my husband said four dogs was one too many, though she was "accepted" by our three. Since she had the prettiest reddish fur, we named her "Ginger". Since we had fostered several dogs at that time for a rescue group, I was able to talk them into showing her at their next animal adoption day, which was a few weeks before Christmas. I'm sure it "sweetened the pot" in that we took care of paying for her spaying, so the then-$100 adoption fee would go to the rescue group. As it turned out, there was a little girl there wih her mother who wanted only a puppy for Christmas, and, amongst several, she picked out "Ginger". It was really hard giving Ginger up for me. My husband delivered Ginger to her new family, who, it turned out, lived several blocks from us, and over the years, I've often walked by that house, looking for a sign or sound of Ginger, but never seeing/hearing her. Of course, I had no idea if the family even still lived there. Fast forward to a few weeks ago. I decided to walk to Trader Joe's & on the way back, noticed a middle-aged man ahead of me walking a red-haired dog on that same street. My thought was "I wonder IF that could be Ginger?" Sure enough, they both made a left-hand turn at the big yellow house & went in the front door! Ginger is much bigger & has gotten a little gray in the muzzle, but it was HER!! I've often wondered how all the past dogs we fostered made out in their new homes, but was particularly gratified that life turnd out so well for Ginger.

Hey Stacy~good to see you back..and I was so glad to read that you are looking forward to the holidays happy and pain free!!!! Yes Tadpole stopped by..ruffled the water in the pond and had to go back under his rock... I had a thread I started to him about his cornbread baking for Dressing from way back..and it turned ugly apparently over the night..and got pulled..MY FREAKIN THREAD that had nothing to do with anyone else here but Joey and his Cornbread!!!! I remember the day we closed on our house. We had to write so many checks for fees and taxes and attorneys,even for the heating oil in the tank, we were left with only $15 in the bank. We had no money even for groceries. We went to my husband's brother's house for dinner that first evening.

Thank you all for the congrats..

Jannie, yes everything is so expensive.. We have to pay almost 800.00 for lawyer taxes etc, plus our downpayment.. Gas is costing 50.00 to transfere over cause there is no meter there, Everything cost money, we might be eating peanut butter sandwiches but at least it will be in our new home lol.

This is my third marriage and while i would like a wedding wedding, I don't have any family here and we want to go on a honeymoon neither one of us has been on a honeymoon and we want to put money into our house, so we will just go the quicky justice of the peace type wedding then have a wonderful Cruise.. Money is better spent in the house and better investment I think.. I am happy regardless, I love him so much and he is taking good care of me while I heal.....

Oh I messed up my ankle over a month ago been through xrays and mri and its just so badly sprained its taking along time to heal. I am out of work till I am 100% better cause its not safe for me if I cant walk down stairs yet (emt)......

You can strengthen your ankle walking around the promenade deck. LOL

Tami....sending healing thoughts for that ankle! Broke mine and tore and strained tendons and ligements almost 4 years ago, still having problems. Do your exercies!
