Underneath fiberglass shower stall

Hello all,

I have a fiberglass shower stall about 5 yrs old. I have

noticed more and more that when I take a shower the bottom of the shower makes a cracking, crunching noise. The bottom does not have a crack in it, yet! I was wondering if there is something that can be put underneath the shower stall between the wooded floor and stall. Like may be mortar or something like that. I can get to the underneath where the wood floor was cut out around the drain. There is about

1-2 inches between the floor and shower. If I use mortar I don't know how much I can get under there, I can't reach the entire bottom, but maybe a little will help.

Any input would be appreciated.

Thanks
