Has anyone seen 'The Jersey Boys'?

We're trying to get some tickets in Toronto. I've heard it is really a great show. I know I will enjoy it. I love the music. Besides I love the whole going to a show idea. Dinner and then the show. A great way to enjoy a weekend!

It's FABULOUS! This surpasses any other Broadway show I've seen.

I had these on my deck several years ago and they returned the next 3 years also. I contacted the County Extension Office and they looked at this bug and it is a form of aphid. If you watch it very carefully it will move very slowly. It fell from my maple tree unto the deck. What a mess. There was nothing I could do about it and about the end of July the cycle was over so we could again use the deck. By the way the tree was huge and full of them.

Thanks for all the reviews! Cyn, how cool is that ?!? I had a similar experience with a certain famous Rolling Stone back in my early twenties. My kids were at first mortified when they found out, but now (finally) think that it's kind of neat, but funny. Still, those stories are great ones . . . after the fact, and many years later . . . to pass on to our kids and future generations. Mom/Grandma wasn't always so old and "out of it" (LOL)! Lynn

Has anyone ever seen Johnsons Brazilian Oak hand scraped?

My flooring place is trying to locate a sample of it for us to see in person. The pictures I have seen of it on the internet look kind of yellowish and uniform in color, which concerns me. I really like brazilian oak because I like the variation of colors you get with it. Will the Johnson B.O. darken over time? We had also looked at the BR-111 triangulo B.O. and loved the look of it, but would really prefer a handscraped/distressed finish with kids and a dog. Also, when doing searches on the internet of Johnson Brazilian Oak, I came across a complaint (the same one several times) about scratches in the surface. I know all wood scratches, but would the Johnson be any worse with scratches than any of the other brands? Any help anyone could provide would be greatly apreciated!

I saw it on Broadway 2 years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the show. It absolutely surprised me because I really don't care for the group or their music. But it was so well done and the music had the audience clapping and swaying and singing along. The stage setting was perfect- very simple backgrounds which highlighted the actors playing Frankie Vallie and the other Four Seasons. And the songs fit right in with the monologues and scenes.

I hope you get the tickets I think you'll have a great time.
