Many varieties of English boxwood do tend to change color in summer, nothing wrong with the plant. Many varieties of Japanese boxwood tend to bronze up in winter. If you prefer a boxwood that stays deep green year round, you should replace it with a variety such as the Japanese Boxwood, Buxus microphylla japonica'Green Beauty'. English Boxwood/Buxus sempervirens tends to not do as well in hot summer areas, better near the coast. I actually prefer to use the different plant, African Boxwood, or Myrsine africana, because it is just as drought tolerant, but a uniform deeper green and also faster growing. Ultimate size of boxwood at maturity will easily cover your hose reel with just the two plants, but it could be quite a wait. I've seen boxwood get tree sized in 40 year old plantings. Clipping regularly is preferred where you want a denser, tighter habit, if you are just looking for fastest height, leave it alone until it nears the size you want.

To save just about any picture, right click on it and look at the dialog box. One option will be to 'save image as'. Click on that and specify the folder you want it saved in. Done! Clippings, journal... don't use them so I cannot comment. There should be an FAQ for those though.....

The targeted emails come from various sources - so I can't just filter that way. On my neighborhood listservs, I may save emails in folders such as professional recommendations, things to do, etc. Then there are work emails. And others. Within gmail, I label them - and archive them. Not sure if this means they are now in folders with those label names? I would like to be able to save some of these folders to PC. I had thought Thunderbird was the way to do it. I have several thousand emails in my gmail account (due to listservs). I don't necessarily want to erase them or sort through them now - but I don't want to import those into Thunderbird or save them to PC. If I imported everything into Thunderbird, it doesn't seem to import them in the groupings (labels/folders) I have set up in gmail. It would be hugely inefficient to import a few thousand emails, just to save perhaps a hundred or so - and have to delete everything else. Paulsm - I don't want to bring all those emails into Thunderbird to begin with. I do see that from within Thunderbird, I have the option to save to PC. But I don't want to have to resort those emails in Thunderbird after I have already sorted them in Gmail. Damcoy - I was thinking something along the lines of what you suggested - but it's pretty cumbersome. The emails don't come from specific addresses. I could go to my labels - select all from within that folder/label - and then gmail allows me to move it - but only to another label - or IMAP (sent/trash or drafts). So none of those work. I did think about selecting all those emails (but I think I have to do it individually - which is a pain) - creating a new email address I could forward them to - and then link the Thunderbird to just import from that newly created email address. I'm thinking there has to be a better way. Maybe there's a way to do this without using Thunderbird at all. I want to be able to save certain emails to a folder on my PC. Anyway to do this? We had Tightrope surgery done on our 90 lb Akita 4 years ago. She was only 4 years old at the time, but I thought the TPLO was way too invasive. A week after surgery, the cast came off & we started 10 min walks 3-4 times a day, Never left the yard. we did put a ramp up the steps - they didn't want her doing any steps for 3-4 months. also had to keep her off the couch (no jumping) - so I had garbage bags of empty soda bottles that we would put on the couch to keep her off. Got quite a few comments & looks fromvisitors :) We gave her Tramadol for the pain - which worked just fine. The vet also suggested water therapy. I couldn't find anywhere in my area for this - so we went to the lake 3-4 times per week & she swam. Now - 4 years later, she doesn't seem to have any problems. Walks fine, runs & jumps -but on cold mornings, she is a little stiff until she gets moving. All of the food & treats I give her are loaded with glucosamine & omega 3, which I believe has contributed to her recovery & maintenance. We still swim as often as we can. Kita is pure white & is still my lovable polar bear.
