Wow! Worth Every Penny!

When we bought our house, 36 years ago, the porch floor was covered with a sheet of linoleum. Somewhere along the line, we removed that and put down tiles. We knew the floor needed some attention before we tried to sell.

DD mentioned one of her friends used to be a floor refinisher, and got him to give us an estimate for sanding off the old floor leveller and old paint. We've done everything else here to get ready to sell ourselves, but let me tell you--this fellow did a fantastic job for us, for a very good price (we gave him much more than he asked for, and included a restaurant gc)

I can't believe how beautiful the floor turned out. Now we just have to polyurathane (sp?) it and it's going to be a great first impression for potential buyers as they come in the front door.

We've been pinching pennies pretty tightly lately, but this was money well, spent.
