Windows of different height

Hi Everyone!

I have this room with a sloped ceiling on one side. That wall has one window and the wall adjacent to it has one window. As you can see from the picture, the windows are different heights. I'm trying to figure out how to dress them appropriately.

My initial thought was to place the curtain rod as high as it will go on the short wall and then place the other curtain rod at the same level. That won't really work because the rod on the full height wall would have to be mounted just below the top trim. As there will be a shade to fill the space above the window on the short wall, I wouldn't be able to do that on the full height wall.

So, since there really is no clean way to hang them at the same height, will it look too terrible to have matching treatments at different heights? Does anyone have pictures of this done well?

Thanks for reading!
