They may be an ivilliage thing but there is obviously some way to stop or prevent them because I don't see them. I have Verizon DSL that has a pop-up blocker but I don't think it's anything fancy. I use the Google Tool Bar and it has more pop-up blocker stuff on it. I also run Ad-Aware and Spybot at least once a week and clean out my temp files every other day or so. No problems. It all only takes a few minutes to do, it's free and its worth it.

you need to head to the malware removal forum at LzD they will guide you through clean up and running of some special scans. Went through settings again. I hate to do this as it boxes me in on some needed access. Those background pop ups are extremely annoying. Not only am I irritated with GW having one more thing to annoy us, how the heck do they think I want to gamble? They can barrage me with this stuff all day and I'll never go there. This is becoming such an issue with GW that their site could begin to lose members. When are they going to realize such?

Im not having problems anymore. There was a fake Norton Antivirus shortcut on my desktop and I dont know where that came from. I deleted that last night - so it was either that or something that was on this forum and is now gone.
