tagged along with DS while he exchanged something at Lowes then to WalMart then to the mall where I waited by the kiddie jumping around area. Half the stores are out of business there.DS ended up getting shoes in Penney's then to Wendy' then to the Dollar tree which had nothing new on the shelves. so it was a busy day , , , , .

I went to the salon, had my nails done and a massage, stopped off at the supermarket on the way home for a couple of things, cooked french fries and shrimp tempura for supper..and here I am.

I worked on a painting in the morning and then fed the horses, went with my mom to a doctor's appointment (she has a spot on her lung that needs biopsied - non smoker), went for a late lunch with her, to the grocery store.
Made supper. Went back to work my colt on his driving training and watched hubby ride Belle. The farm owner came out and her son wanted to ride his horse so watched him a while and then helped clean horses. It seems like I never get enough done in a day but reading it - I guess I did.

I worked until noon.
Today the County Headstart preschool program visited the library. It's great fun working with the little ones. We colored pictures, read two stories and everyone left with a new library card, three books and some supercool magnifying glass bookmarks.

A friend of ours passed away and her funeral was today.
She died of mouth cancer but she was a brave soul to the end. She planned the entire service. Her son read the eulogy she wrote which as very nice and personal. She had a daughter in law sing..'I did it my way' and yessiree she did. She lived her life her way and is so special because of it.

Then it was back to library where I worked on reports (yuk) until it was time to close up.

IT was windy and cold all day but only snow flurries.
Cars traveling from the south had six to seven inches of snow on the hood and roofs.

We have some very pregnant heifers out back and a very pregnant corgi in the house. None of them gave birth today which is a good thing. The only piece of furniture in the house Holly (the corgi) can get on by herself is DD's bed. I will cover it with a plastic table cloth tonight so there will be no big messe or ruined bedding/mattress'.

I had to rush over to my Mom's first thing this morning to try and see why she wasn't getting enough oxygen from her oxygen tank. Her emergency tank was drained dry, someone must have bumped it and started it leaking. Called the company and someone would come out to look at it, they just didn't know what time that would be. I stayed most of the morning waiting, no one had come by the time I had to leave after being there 5-6 hours. But I had turned up the out-put myself. I think it is just her disease getting worse.
I ran over to the hair salon and got a hair cut. I got it short, getting ready for pool time!
Checked on Mama before starting for home. Came in, vacuumed, washed 2 loads of cloths and went outside. I smelled all my roses, caressed some buds and raked some leaves to put into the rose beds.
Cooked supper, washed dishes and perhaps now I can relax a bit!

Bought a new mattress for my bed, and they delivered the wrong one. Same price, except one I wanted had the pillow top.
They admit it was their mistake, and will bring me another one day this week.

Lori, those bookmarks sound interesting. :o) I've spent many hours working in our High School and Elementary Libraries and really enjoyed it.

Today I got dressed for the first time since coming home from the hospital, drove my car for the first time and went to the grocery store to pick up a few items. I did okay, but think I need a pillow to sit on. :o) My lower back felt like it had a catch after coming home, so I took a pain pill and relaxed. DIL brought me a bucket of chicken for dinner. Hmmm it was good.

I volunteered at the blood donor clinic this afternoon. When people come off the tables we set them down and give them pizza, cookies and a beverage. Then we donate blood if we can.

Geez, some of you gals do more work in a day than 10 people. Glad you have the energy to get 'er done! I did a couple loads of laundry and cleaned the garage. This is not my job usually, but since DH's surgery it'd gotten beyond messy. Took tons of cardboard to the recycle bin along with three super-sized bags of trash. Fixed dinner, cleaned that up now got to shower and go to bed soon. VA trip to Gainesville tomorrow--an all day affair, I'm afraid.

I restrung the cord in my vertical blinds. They always got tangled up, and where hard to open and close. Well, two hours.. and now no more problems. I also washed off all the ceiling fans, got the hinge pin door closer to work again and dug up a HUGE garbage can full of weeds.

Now, I need a shower and some quality loafing time in front of the TV. :)

PS, I did a weight workout early this morning too.

I subbed, 6th grade science and language arts. My own DS was in one of the science classes. I sub for these kids frequently, plus I've known some of them for a few years. Came home, bringing my own kids with me. Sat around for about 30 mins, then herded the kids through their homework, made dinner (chicken-bacon wraps and fruit). Then took DS#4 to baseball practice, then straight to DS#2's roller hockey game. Now I've got the younger ones in the tub and a load of laundry started.

Tomorrow will be the crazy day. I will sub again, 5th grade. Then take DD to gymnastics, get the others going on homework, feed them. Take DS#4 to his baseball game at 6:00. Meet the DH to swap kids. Go from baseball to pick up DD (a little late, but she'll manage), get her some dinner on the way to watch #2's roller hockey at 7:30. I'll watch some of #1's game right after, but leave early to get the younger ones home to shower/bed.

Whew. Wednesday will be slow, actually. But right back to the crazy stuff on Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. By May 9th it will slow down. It's just that this is "the season" for all of the kids' sports.

Worked at my old place of business today. Eight straight hours of fast-as-you-can data entry. I figure we did about 1600 test kits (just two of us) and that includes at least 24 key strokes for the basic data, and then the names, addresses, and email addresses for each one.

I have come to the conclusion that even PRINTING is beyond most of the population! One needs to be psychic in order to determine what these people's names are, their street names, even house numbers, PO box numbers, or zip codes!

DH took me to the local Mexican restaurant for supper, and it's a good thing. I'm too tired to remember my own name.

Well I got up at 5:50 and got my granddaughter on the bus at 6:30,came back and started to go back to bed for awhile but said NO ur NOT ur gonna go out to the garden and so I did.Pulled a few weeds & grass and just watched as it seemed to peek out of the ground while I was watching.
Can't wait til pickin time.Yuuuummmy. Then about 12ish went to Walmart and bought groceries.By the time I got back home and brought them in I had to sit down for a bit and fell asleep. Got up felt like poopy then cooked supper of hot chicken wings,potato salad & FF.Now I'm on here for another while then some tv then bed.So all of you ladies that did all the work above me I applaud you!!! Wow, you ladies amaze me with all you accomplish in a day! I just went to work, which flew by, and then came home and walked the dogs. Tonight I watched DWTS with DD.

I did two loads of laundry and had a colonoscopy.

I went to my exercise class, ran some errands, did a load of laundry and cooked dinner. Tonight I watched DWTS. I was supposed to go to a meeting but told them I had something else going on, just did not tell them it was DWTS.

Got up, made a beef stew, then started priming the hearth brick wall in my den. That took several hours as I had to do all the prep work. Ate some stew. Then cleaned out a closet, folded all the laundry, answered some calls,cleaned up the mess from the primer and washed all the brushes in turp. Ate more stew lol. Then laid down on my bed and my stupid toes were curling up in cramps from sitting on my haunches painting, took a hot bath and massaged my feet and watched t.v for a bit.

In furthering our getting ready to move (if our house ever sells) took 6 crocheted throws to the surgery center for needy patients; bought more yarn w/ Michaels coupon; bought black ink cartridge for printer; dropped off bedding and other stuff to homeless shelter; picked up dog meds; got gas (Friday was $1.97 - today $2.05 Gggggrrr); dropped off DH's paintings at hospital thrift shop; dropped off baby blankets to hospital nursery. Whew. Came home and had lunch and cup of tea then crocheted while watching L&O. Ask me anything - I've seen them all!!! :-)

Got a mammogram. I was at the Drs. yesterday for a checkup and he asked if I'd scheduled my mammogram for this year. I said I got a reminder notice but hadn't called in yet...well he took care of it for me and I didn't realize the appointment was for the very next day. Good thing I looked at it when I got home.

Worked at preschool all day, came home to a great dinner prepared by DH, ladies small group at parsonage this evening and now I'm here!

Went first to Sharp Shopper. Got some nice fresh veggies and a few other things. Then went to KMart. Got printer ink, and they are having the double coupon up to $2 again. I had two Hershey Bliss $1 coupons, so they were doubled. Yummy!

Went to $Tree for a couple things, and then to Big Lots which is a couple store fronts from $Tree for light bulbs.

Last stop was Krogers for Rx and groceries. Good buys on chicken tenders and stew beef. Used a coupon for free cookies: pound bag of Nutter Butters.

Home to unload the car and put away the stuff and like GEM, I was pooped.

I hit the recliner, tuned on the TV and went to sleep.

You know how it is, you come in with a gazillion bags, and nothing for supper. Had leftovers.

There are a few things still not put away and dishes in the sink. Oh, well.

Again today, every where I went people were pleasant, but the conversations were mostly about having to count pennies. Weather was nice and sunny. Had the heater on going in, air on coming home.

Caroline, that was quite an understatement. Made me laugh.

Went to work, only two of us to do admissions and discharges and of course we got slammed. My computer is doing a scan so I can't go to sleep yet. There's a virus, the one program keeps popping up, saying that there's a trojan something or other and when it supposedly is fixed it comes right back. I also have Malwarebytes running that my computer people recommended and so far it's showing nothing.

I want to go to sleep, have to take my car in to have it looked at, at 8 am. Why did I do that to myself?
