There is a company in PA called Prizm fence you might want to try. I am not sure how vinyl fence will hold up over the years with the cold New York weather. The plastic might start to get brittle. If you need to replace your aluminum fence feel free to contact FenceTown for a free quote. Good luck on your search !

This is pretty much standard for 3-rail vinyl fencing. The extra weight and swing of the gate needs posts there but basic install doesn't typically require fences. What brand of vinyl?

UPDATE: I wanted to thank everyone for their helpful suggestions. Our front yard renovation is almost complete. All we have left to do is pick out some colorful pillows for the chairs and wait for the plants to grow larger over time. We’re really happy with it. This is about the most sun the yard gets so finding native California plants that were shade tolerant and drought tolerant was a challenge. Here’s our plant list: Allumroot in 2 variations; Seaside Daisy; Narrow Leaf Milkweed; Blue Eyed Grass; and, Western Sword Fern The pots and window boxes aren’t natives but contain combos of impaitients, lace ferns, a different variation of allumroot, and daffodils. It’s much more enjoyable to sit outside and watch the kids play now.

Squirrels can be incredibly destructive - without even mentioning the dog issue, I'd talk with the neighbor about the damage they're inviting to their property and the neighborhood by encouraging the population. They are rats with furry tails and front teeth that never stop growing so they have to constantly chew on wood, wiring, PVC, metal, whatever they can find to file them down. They've caused extensive damage to our home and our neighborhood by chewing through soffits in several areas to build nests in attics where they reproduce, damage items in storage, chew on electrical, and occasionally die which creates a horrendous smell for weeks. You can't exterminate them where we live so pest control companies have had to help remove them. Our son traveled out of town for a week and couldn't start his car when he returned because squirrels had devoured the electrical wiring around his engine. It took a concerted effort by the neighborhood to finally get the problem under control.
