Thanks for all the input. I plan to start decorating this week, and of course will take photos. Slinkey, I've been wanting to go to TJ Maxx for a long time. I just have such a problem with being able to drive AND walk a store then drive home. My right leg is my biggest Fibro problem. Plus the past month, I haven't been able to leave my Dad at all. Tho now I think I can for an hour or two. So maybe I'll try going there soon if I have a half-way decent day with the pain issues. My mind is willing but I think my body is self-destructing. LOL I thought it was the Myott that came in the colored like mine as well blue, brown, and PINK for all you Pinkies out there. (where's Judith? Our biggest Pinkie has been missing for so long. So has Jim. I sure miss them a lot) hugs, Karen

Thanks, Everyone. Its such fun to share with all of you! Jeanne, afraid the phone has to stay there, LOL. Don't worry about bunny falling off tho, he's held on tight with sticky stuff. Tho I'll be removing him soon since he's not exactly Fall or Christmas looking. And those witch boots definitely AREN'T made for walking... LOL. They are resin or ceramic, and together as one piece. I don't know what's going on with my photos tonight. I resized everything properly in Photobucket, but only some of the pictures came out right in my posts. Weird. Anyway, sorry for the BIG ones as I know its tough on the dial-up folks. Looking at the turkey candle-holder, I'm think I need to do a bit of cosmetic work on his eyes. He looks pretty mad to me. The big turkey is resin, but sure looks like wood which I like a lot. Pheasant too. Their painting has a "grain" look to it like wood. OA, the orange balls sound neat to decorate with. I've not seen any either. Tho I didn't look in that area of Hobby Lobby yesterday. I made myself stay away from Christmas ornaments this time. LOL. hugs, Karen

I just got done making my traditional turkey scrapple. I make it every time we have roast turkey. I've never been a fan of turkey soup, so years ago when a friends introduced me to this dish, I tried it and have been making it ever since. Simmer the carcass with herbs & spices for several hours, strain, pick off all the pieces of meat. I follow the recipe from the Alber's box for cornmeal mush but use the heavily seasoned turkey broth. Simmer everything until the cornmeal is quite thick and spoon into meatloaf pans. Let cool & chil overnight. Then in the morning, slice the scrapple, dredge in flour, and fry until crispy on both sides. I've served it with honey, maple syrup, leftover gravy, and even leftover cranberry sauce. It's one of our favorite breakfasts. My husband would be sorely disappointed if I didn't make it.

If your oven is big enough, I would cook2 15 pounders. Turkeys never finish when expected at my house either....but they usually cook faster than I expect.....so the turkey is tented under foil and towels while I frantically mash potatoes and cook veggies! 2 15 pound turkeys should easily cook in 4 hours at 325 even if they are not completely defrosted in the breast. I start at 425 for maybe 29 minutes and turn the oven down without opening the door. Then, at 2 1/2 hours I check the temperature in the thigh with an instant read thermometer. If it reads 155 or above....the turkey comes out and is foiled and wrapped with a couple of bath towels to rest....the temperature will rise another 8 to 10 degrees in that time. Don't over cook a turkey. Linda C
