I had so much fun this weekend!!! Not only did I get to meet so many wonderful people, but you all sent me home with soooo many plants!! Susan I took your advice and just started putting everything in the dirt. DH couldn't believe I could show up with a couple of weeds and come home with so many great plants. I have a bed in the backyard that I have been having trouble figuring out exactly what I want to put in it.... it's now my "Charity Garden". Every time I'm outside I'll remember the coreopis that I got from Lynn and the balloon flower from Andriea, the sedum and aloe that Terrance gave me, the Iris, Catnip, Fennel, and Cannas that Lynn gave me.... and Terrence I found the perfect location for the Vinca!!! Susan, the Red Leaf Begonia is by the front door, ready to greet everyone that comes to visit!! I had almost as much fun planting everything that I brought home, as I did visiting with everyone!

This last January amidst several months of other health issues, I had a molar crown fall off. I experienced no pain from the tooth despite the fact that the tooth was exposed for over a week from the missing crown. Having just started a new job, I had to find a new dentist that was accepted by my dental policy. I went in and told the dentist that I just needed my old crown re-cemented on. The dentist said that would be a liability to him if the cement didn't hold and I choked on it so I agreed to a root canal and new crown. Ever since the root canal, the tooth has ached. I went back a month later and told the doctor that it hurts to eat, touch my face or brush my teeth. He said the tooth must have cracked and that I need an implant which involves four months without a tooth on that side of my mouth. And of course additional cost done by another dental specialist that I will have to absorb. I said no. I'm furious. Because I've been seeing a half a dozen doctors for my other health issues and having a number of test that require me to take time off from my new job, I have not been willing to take even more time off to go back to the dentist. He told me he would talk to the dentist who did the root canal and get back to me. Which he never did. I have an appointment with the dentist office for a cleaning next week and will have to deal with whatever the next step might be then. Jodi-

Thanks, Lynn! House is still a work in progress, not everything hung, missing window treatments, no backsplash yet, waiting for a couple of pieces of furniture etc. but we're getting there. I posted a few pictures on the January 2018 build thread in the homebuilding forum. Will do a full reveal around the end of February since we have company coming then and that's our completion goal. The singing bowl is crystal of some type and the sound is amazing when DH makes it sing --I don't quite have the touch. DH was given a smaller brass one by a river friend (we both used to be really into whitewater kayaking) for helping teach a swiftwater rescue class, I think, and he was entranced by it. I found that one for his 50th birthday and it has always held a place of honor. I think it reminds us both of us of the zen of river running, when nothing in the world matters other than you and the water ahead of you. i really don't know much about the sideboard, but I do love it. It was purchased for my first house almost 40 years ago from a nice antique store. I've always thought of it as Jacobean (I think that's what I was told at the time), but really have no idea.
