I got around the log in issue by adopting a new pseudonym (username). It kept rejecting my old one. Sure the old profile and data still survive somewhere. Existing in parallel universes has its perks, I guess. But all this white hurts my eyes. Do we need to go to settings each time we visit here to reduce luminosity?! I feel like I now know what it must be like to go snow blind!!! Maybe just wear a pair a shades.

If you select, HTML: The email file will be in the HTMP (hyper text markup Protocol) language. Both text and graphics can be displayed. MicroSoft Word can handle these files. However, you may encounter a correspondent or two whose browser can not display HTML and all he will see is a page full of gibberish. If you select Text: The email message will be a text-only file and no graphics. This is the most simple of the file formats and uses the least storge space. All formatting will be lost except for line feeds, carrage returns and maybe backspaces. The only characters available are the standard ones on the keyboard. Years a go, this was called an ASCII file. If you choose HTML and TEXT: The file will be sent in both formats. If you are using Mozilla's ThunderBird, there is a feature in one of the drop-down menus to set this option to your choosing. You may set to text only, HTML only, Both, or keep the default which asks which option you want.

Apparently she's tried all of the suggestions above and we are both very thankful for your help and advice. I heard from her this morning and here is what she relayed. I've had my dpi set to 120 the entire time and it helps but does not unstack the text. So, I set my Theme back to normal and tried unclicking the three checks in 'Formatting' but the text went back to tiny. Even when I set my font to Largest and the dpi back to 120. When I rechecked the three boxes in 'Formatting' the font stayed small and I couldn't get it back to where I was the day before yesterday, so I ended up doing a Restore to Nov. 10th. And I'm now back to square one. Meaning, stacked text but the font is large enough for me to read. Also, The text is stacked in most sites. Some are worse than others. Back when I changed all the settings in Desktop, Properties, Appearance, Advanced, I changed sizes in just about every one of those and I'm thinking that's where my problem remains. No matter what size I change them to, it doesn't help. Only because I don't know what the defaults are for them individually. Also, for some time now, the font in email OE, will not stay on Comic sans. I've used comic sans for years but for whatever reason, no matter how many times I repeat setting it to comic sans, as soon as I type the first letter in the email, it reverts back to Times New Roman. I've checked the settings in case I had them set for reverting to the senders font but that's not the case. I don't know if they two issues are related, maybe you folks would know or it might shed some light on her troubles. Again, thank you so much for your help and suggestions.

Hello, I have the same issue with letters and numbers fading away around the knobs on my LG electrical range that is over a year old. I had to print the image of the panel from the internet and post it above my range so that I know which way to turn my dials. This is outrageous! Prior to buying this range, we had to dispose of another range that was only 4 years old because the panel plastic was peeling off, and it would have cost us over $400 to replace the panel. Unfortunately LG does not stand behind their products and does not offer any solutions to correct manufacturing defects, their products have become of very poor quality unless you pay for the top of the line appliances… Does anyone have a solution as to how to fix the problem with disappearing letters and numbers? I would greatly appreciate it!
