There are some really good rolls on that page. I have a hamburger roll I posted that's excellent. They make good dinner rolls too.

I would like to know too. Those look mighty fine. Would love a good quick roll recipe.

Not Haley but your rolls look like mine. My recipe has sugar in it so it can be used as a dinner roll or sweet breads/cinnamon rolls also. I find that they will burn easily because of the sugar content and have to be watched in the last few minutes carefully. This is the way I make it in the bread machine but often do it by hand if I have time. The instructions below are for cresent rolls, but I also make cloverleafs and split rolls like you have in your picture.

Ingredients
1/2 cup warm water (110 degrees F/45 degrees C)
1/2 cup warm milk
1 egg
1/3 cup butter, softened
2 tbsp. white sugar
1 teaspoon salt
3 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 (.25 ounce) package active dry yeast
1/4 cup butter, softened
Directions
1.Place water, milk, egg, 1/3 cup butter, sugar, salt, flour and yeast in the pan of the bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select Dough/Knead and First Rise Cycle; press Start.
2.When cycle finishes, turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Divide dough in half. Roll each half into a 12 inch circle, spread 1/4 cup softened butter over entire round. Cut each circle into 8 wedges. Roll wedges starting at wide end; roll gently but tightly. Place point side down on ungreased cookie sheet. Cover with clean kitchen towel and put in a warm place, let rise 1 hour. Meanwhile, preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
3.Bake in preheated oven for 10 to 15 minutes, until golden.

Mine didn't have that much sugar in ThreeJ's, but I'll bet they are similar.

I'll do some dinking around and see if I can reproduce them.

Jasdip, I went to google.com, typed in Jasdip + kitchen table + rolls recipe and this one came up.

I will post both of them so we can find them.

I received the recipe from Haley that I had emailed her.
It turns out there are 4 tbsp of sugar in the recipe!!! Funny, they don't taste too sweet at all. But they are nice buns.

This recipe is 30 years old, and the directions really didn't make sense to me. So I stated what I did that day, in the bottom of the recipe.

Plain Quick Buns
1/2 cup milk
3/4 cup warm water
3 tbsp melted butter
1 pkg yeast
1 1/2 tsp salt
4 tbsp sugar
1 egg, well-beaten
4 1/2 cups sifted flour (I didn't sift mine)

Mix milk, water, salt and sugar. Add yeast according to directions. Add melted butter and egg. Add flour and knead well. Shape into ball and put in covered bowl and let rise until double.
Punch down and shape into balls and let rise again.
Bake in 350 oven 15-10 minutes.

What I did today:
I put warm water and 2 tbsp sugar in a bowl and added
2 1/4 tsp yeast (1 pkg). Stirred it and let sit till risen. (10 minutes).

I warmed the milk, added the salt and other 2 tbsp sugar and stir until dissolved. Add the melted butter and the egg.
Add the yeast and the flour.
Mix and knead and follow rest of directions.

Just wanted to say that I'm eating one of the buns now.
I followed the recipe I posted and they turned out great.
