Wow, eric, you have some stunning variations. The second one is intense. The green one...I'm not sure about. LOL

I was doing the same thing last evening. My sunsets/sunrises were fairly bland but a little adjustment of brightness and contrast makes a huge difference. I found that my camera's sensor isn't large/good enough to handle the low light situations. I have to adjust the noise in most. Learned how to do that on just the sky portion and leave the ground detail alone. Also learned to use Elements 'dodge' tool to keep the detail of trees and plants on the ground from fading into silhouette.

Love playing with the color/light combos.

Wow...again...I'm learning more how to use the brightness, gamma and contrast...and the difference it makes...Nicely done, Eric!

Yes, I do collect the seed. The seed are large and the plant keeps producing flowers and as each flower turns to seed, the plant is continually producing seed unless you are deadheading. As the season continues, the seed can start dropping. In some areas this plant can become a pest because of the seeds dropping and because I believe the plant produces some type of tuber. I have not planted it in the ground because of that, but have always planted it in containers. I don't think it is much of a problem in my zone because I don't think they are hardy to zone 6, but in the warmer zones, I believe they do survive the winter and can become a pest. Very easy to start from seed, to collect seed, and start them for containers every year.

:D @ psychedelic mushroom... On the Oceanside pier, there is a small café that also sells bait to the fishermen. I thought it was funny that the two signs on the side of the shop make it appear as if the Health Inspector gave the bait an "A" safety rating.

Yikes, I'd hate to see that green one in real life! Cool work on these.
