Hi Pirula, I did look in Schoolhouse. I love their lghts and hae some classic flushmounts from them in my kitchen. The problem is that for this bathroom, I need something that does not project too much and possibly pointing up. BTW, the paint is Elephant's breath and I really like how soft it looks. Thanks to Pal for that suggestion. The second and third pics are just the plastered drywall. I will try to get some more recent pics. I also have a small chandy there, that may be useful to consider when picking the sconces.

Yep..this is what I am painting! Actually my brother had this book back in the 70's and asked my friend (who is an artist) to paint it for him. Well she did such a fantastic job on it that I made a copy of it for myself. I did this back in 1985. I decided to make another copy of it for the art fair I am going to be participating in for May Fest. I wanted the photo to remember how vibrant the colors were. SamKaren your resident DJ

I absolutely love that coral piece!! Who is the artist/where did you get it?? If you want a place for guest to take off shoes (if you are a no shoe house like many are), then a bench under the painting and a table for the sculpture!

I like the painting. I think you need to make a decision: is the painting "art" or is it "decor"? If it is "art", that means you love it and want it displayed where you can enjoy it "Art" does not have to "go" (aka blend in) with the rest of the room. It stands on its own. If you want to tie it in with something else in the room (a vase, a pillow or a table runner), that is fine. If the painting is "decor", that means it was selected to blend in with the rest of the room. You may like it enough to re-decorate the room around it (people have redecorated around a pillow, so it's not crazy to re-decorate around a painting). That would probably have you re-doing the whole room. The selection of a round or rectangular table should be based on what functions best for the way you use the table.
