Since last week was the Autumnal equinox should we do Fall pictures this week?

A small lake in northern Minnesota.

A sugar maple that my Grandfather planted in 1964.

Paper Birch.

It can't be Fall without a pile of leaves to play in, can it?

What makes you think of Fall?

It's still summer here, in the 90s. This is a rain tree, the only fall color I could find.

I'm loving all the photos! I especially like the wooded paths and the snow (of course). A little off topic: My 9 year old computer is showing it's age, so I got a new one yesterday! I got a laptop and now have to load all my photos. :) This one is much faster, quieter, smaller, and half the cost I paid on the first. I can now watch my videos and youtube. Also nice to be able to post photos faster and withought restarting the CP. :)

Woo hoo, received my box from Nikki yesterday and the post office was kind and didn't break anything. She sent two pretty glittery fairies resting their heads on mushrooms, a Valentine shelf sitting monkey, a yummy candy bar, tulip bulbs, a little gift book and several packs of coneflower seeds. I can't wait for spring so I can get those started. This may even be the motivation to get out my grow lights and get started now. Thank you Nikki. Margo

Beautiful fall pictures, everyone! Ralph, your family home is lovely. Konrad, I'm jealous.......a crazy May freeze killed off all my apples this year. We usually have loads of them. Yours are gorgeous!

I've been out of town for a while.

Started to comment on each pic, but, they are all just great.

No "fresh" fall pics here yet. I was in Philly where I could have gotten some great ones... if about a week or 10 days later.

Most have seen my fall pics from earlier years, so, I'll just have to post to this thread when I have some "fall". I sure do appreciate getting some from those who are already enjoying it at their locales.

This isn't at all typical for autumn, but it's the reality at my house right now: unexpected iris blooms (two clumps of them).

PS: Got my new camera a few minutes ago--woo hoo!!
