As I was posting this message my box came from Blueridge. You will not believe the size of the double fan of Baracuda Bay that Robert sent me - Now, I am not worried about the sucess of this beauty at all! The prices at blueridge are a bit high, but see what you get! This is by far the biggest plant I have ever recieved!! I am so happy with it. Just had to share, I almost pee'd in my pants when I saw this double fan. Even the fans I got from Oakes can't compete with this! -Jessica

A greenhouse is like a boat, aquarium, or a pond. No sooner than you get one, you'll want a bigger one. Small greenhouses heat up quick and cool off fast. Plants dry up fast. The end result is a lot of dead plants. Most end up as transparent storage sheds for garden tools, pots, and dead plants. Running one is a big time consuming commitment with the corresponding knowledge. If you really want one I'd wait for the biggest one you can get. I guess I should ask, what will you be using it for?

The first time I purchased a 5-gallon bucket of Charlie's Soap (HE laundry detergent) was an on-line purchase Nov. 2007 (1,280 loads) with free shipping. I learned about Charlie's over at the Laundry Room forum and have used it since then. The first bucket lasted us 3-years (doing laundry for 2 adults). Just think of all the packaging and trips to the store I saved. Now it comes in a smaller 32# bucket (1,000 loads) and I can purchase it locally at a specialty shop for baby things. An additional plus for saving money using Charlie's Soap - you don't use softener (liquid or sheets) with it, and our clothes are soft even when line-dried. If you use softeners, you will alter the way the detergent cleans due to the softener build-up. If you use softener and switch to Charlie's Soap, it will take a few weeks to eliminate all the built-up "crud" and soap scum left in your clothes (especially if you have hard water).
