Oh my gosh, these are just wonderful, I love the geese in the sunset. This is the only one I could find right now, we were at a state park, the deer are very tame, it was the highlight of my weekend, could of had a 300. fine if they caught me feeding her banana!

Living in Minnesota, I never see armadillos. What a bizzare looking creature. A face only a mother could love. Thanks for sharing.

Armadillo of the Great North has managed to elude you - they should be easy to track in all that snow you get!

Isn't it a great character, ronf? Unfortunately, I don't know what it is. The last two bird photos were taken at the Sylvan Heights Waterfowl Park in Scotland Neck, NC. I looked on the website but didn't have any luck identifying the bird with the hairdo and I didn't label it at the time.

Taken in late October....Yosemite Valley. Hope she lasted thru the winter.

I think the strange black feathered bird with the crest is a curassow.
