Thanks all, its funny about Bowie and not having his coffee yet, cause that was my dilemma!! Now that summer vacation has officially started, I sit every morning ( after feeding the cats of course) on that 'new' garden seat with my morning coffee or tea, and bowie usually will sit in my lap, but lately he has been rushing to get to it first!! I can't sit on HIS lap, and I have to plead with him to get down!!! I have to go get another chair to sit on. He does know a good seat when he sees it!!! It's too funny and he looks very funny in that pic. Sharon, the cat in the other bed across from the PINK bed never causes any mischief, cause he is cement. Here's another pic of Bowie, guarding the garden, which he does a very good job of, whenever he sees a squirrel in the bird feeder, he runs over, has never hurt a squirrel but seems to know that they have their own feeder, cause he never chases squirrels out of the squirrel feeder. In the pic of Bowie, his very shy mother, we just call her 'mommy kitty' is on the other side, They were both rescue cats. Oh well, lots of fun to have the critters and cats around. Oh, I meant to post another daylily that I was so excited about, didn't take a good pic, It was the bonus Prediction from Maryott last fall and it showed itself yesterday. Hi Everyone, especially my new GW friend Judye! Judye is absolutely right, I have to name names. We took a little excursion to TN last week and we got back on Friday. As you can see by my post about Roosters I had a small problem with some that my friend/neighbor has and I was trying to help out. PJ and I went to Tennessee basically for the ribs, yes you read that correctly, ribs. We wanted to check out smokers and get some knowledge about them from the locals down there. Well when we came back, PJ HAD to have one, so we spent the entire weekend working on purchasing, setting up and learning to use a smoker. I will post pics of that later in the week but first I have to name the peonies. I do not have the digital card that those pictures are on here at work, they are at home nice and safe. When I get home I will feed the family (that entails PJ, my two dogs and various wild birds out in the yard), water all of my plants, help PJ finish his little Smoker patio (basically going to the local Home Improvement store and saying 'Yes dear, you can buy more bricks') and then I will post the names, this morning a woman that I work with came up to me and said "Hey, I thought you were going to post the name of those flowers Friday? What happened?!" I asked "what are you talking about?" "On GardenWeb, aren't you the one who posted those pictures two weeks ago? I would like to know the names of some of them so I can keep and eye out for them." I didn't know that she knew it was me. So I cannot hide behind my monitor because someone can really scold me in person about this. So be on the lookout tonight for my newest update. Thanks everyone, it was fun sharing my trip with you all. I will try to get the other few photos of the garden posted tomorrow evening, won't have time tonight. Mantis, I don't think AAFC was orangeish, so it must just be the sun, perspective and/or picture showing it that way. If it's blooming when I go back, I will take a closer look at the coloration.
