Uh oh. That's a problem. 70' would look ridiculous. We have a fantastic arborist friend of ours. I think I'll have Bob prune them in that case. Another option would be to cut them down and start over. Unlike other trees, Aspens are really easy to take down without creating a danger to structures. I'm able to get 4' high sapling aspens in town for only $25 each. They put on two feet a year. We learned too late, but last year when we had them ground treated with a systemic that kills aphids, the guy said do NOT water them. They're like Gremlins (the movie). If they get water, they grow super fast. Thanks for the advice. Oh.. almost forgot; Yeah, when I said "top" I was thinking of just nibbling off the top one foot. Just enough to send the signal to the tree to stop growing up. I agree that taking off 5 or 10 feet would look really bad. - T

Is the wifi ever used by GE to make updates (firmware or software) to the appliances?

We had MSI quartz installed in July, the Blanca Statuarietto design. We had our fabricator do an eased edge. We haven’t experienced any chipping at all. I cook a lot and make fresh jams and pickles. I have dripped acidic brines that I couldn’t wipe up for several minutes. I have accidentally sprinkled turmeric that overshot the measuring spoon. I do try to wipe things up reasonably quickly. We use trivets under hot pots, we don’t chop on the quartz, we also use a cloth underneath heavy ceramic bowls and baking dishes. I use only water and a microfiber cloth the clean them. We haven’t had any staining or etching.

Same here. But I use polypropylene #5 containers. They're the most safe and most washable and reuseable. They degrade a lot less with light and heat. Some deli containers are made of this. Others are meant for one time use. The veg, especially peas, will likely lose their pop, but you didn't list the better not freeze things. Soup is too wet for pasta and fluffy beans like cannelini. They freeze okay separately if well drained and slightly dry. But the peas should be fine, just soft.
