Kids are home this week. So am I. ;o) I subbed the last 12 school days in a row before break. And the house looked like it! We did get a lot done yesterday, though. Today DD had gymnastics practice and I picked up/dropped off a teammate. So, time-wise, that running around was the biggest chunk of my day, with no real results to show for it. In between, I went to BJs wholesale club to stock up on some regular stuff. Took it home, put it away, made the boys lunch. Rotated laundry. Went back for the girls at the gym, watched for an hour (it's a 3-1/2 hour practice). I have also read 2 lessons of my online class (I'm behind, I have 4 more to go today to be caught up). Just checking in here before I leave the computer for now. I'll go by the laundry room and rotate more laundry, then down to the kitchen to load dishwasher and start dinner (I don't know what yet). The boys' practices are cancelled today because it went and SNOWED! OK, just flurries, but it's cold and wet... this is supposed to be SPRING break! I am also going to make some afternoon coffee.

I was just at Target today and bought a bunch of stuff. Trying to remember what. 3 pkgs of those foan cups with snap on lids like you get at a take away place, some frozen food entrees and some different cat food.

A house with an inlaw wing and a small guest house on the property. I would have a middle section of our entertainment center custom made so a larger tv would fit into it. Probably a new vehicle. I've often thought of things I wanted to do for friends, family, homeless or abused animals etc, but never put much thought into what I would buy for myself. I had to think about that one. I am not wealthy, but obviously I am already blessed.

Holy mackerel!!! 32 inches? That makes me kind of claustrophobic just hearing about it. One time when I was living in Baltimore we had a blizzard of 26". I had to keep going outside and clearing off my deck. I was afraid I would get snow up against both front and back doors and not be able to get out. It took a week before the snow plow cleaned my street! I don't like too much of anything, rain or snow! It rained all day yesterday, but today was beautiful. Sun shining and bright blue skies. It's chilly, but not too bad. The dogs were not shivering after each walk. :) I went to the library and returned a DVD that needed to be back today. It was the first season, well the first 3 shows of the first season of The Closer. I started watching it on tv, but well into season 6 (of 7) and I love it. So I was going to try to start watching it on DVDs from the library, but now I am afraid they may not have them all and I found them on ebay (all 7 seasons) at a pretty good price and decided that would be a great Christmas present to myself!! I know I will love it and it should keep me entertained all winter. When I got home I made a cup of Twinings Mixed Berries and it tasted so good. I stopped at the grocery store on the way back from the library and got a pork loin roast and I will do it up in the Nesco tomorrow. I just looked and it is 5 lbs.!!!! Way too much but it was on a big sale and was cheaper than just a few pork chops. It ought to last me for quite awhile. I can shred some of it and I have some good BBQ sauce I can put on it. Tonight while I was on the computer messing around I had the tv on and The Kennedy Center honors were on. There was a lot of really good music played in honor of the inductees. James Taylor, the Eagles, Mavis Stapleton just to name a few. Such good music back in the day. It brought back a lot of memories of fun times. Well, time for bed. It's already 12:30 here. Goodnight.
