Happy thanksgiving, everybody!

I've been in the hospital for 10 days or so but am home as of yesterday afternoon and wanted to wish all a Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi Susannah Try to grow a different variety of radish for the dear boyfriend, there is some interesting with 2 colors like watermelons, rose or french breakfast. Then use the whole plant. Cook it for a minute or two with their own water left from washing, you can chop the leaves coarse. Add a little bit of butter, salt and pepper. It is is perfect to use tomatoes, radish and carrots together. I have runner beans, carrots and radish combo. And I like all the greens from my garden this time of year, I love your arugula in salads! Are you planting any of the Asian greens? We really have to grow more of this, they are not only easy to grow but they are delicious and nutritious. Here are my radish going to be prepared like I told you. Thanks for the reposting, Alexa. I still sing that every year too! :) I'm just reading through last night's postings while I wait for DH. We're about to take off heading to NY for my EMG (hey, hey, I will survive!) & some other tests. I won't be around tomorrow...they are incarcerating me for a couple days & I will be licking my "wounds". It's such a fun test. They stick you with 150 needles, hook you up to a battery, then flip the switch to see if you twitch! (I wonder if they're going to pump Cajun seasoning through those needles before they "fry" me? lol) So, this is a good opportunity for me to say, HAPPY TURKEY DAY, everybody! /tricia

Welcome home, Tricia! Happy Thanksgiving to you all!

Our menu today is:

Roast Chicken
Roast Turkey Breast
Stuffing
Mashed Potatoes (instant-that may be a crime for some of you, but I think they're delicious)
Gravy
Corn
Noodles
Sweet Potatoes
Pumpkin Pie

I know on my plate will be some chicken, potatoes, gravy, stuffing, and corn. Maybe some pie for dessert :). It's just my parents and I this year.
