I am starting to read some of the fine print. The Flickr limit of only 200 photos available for viewing at a time - and only being able to upload a certain number per month - are dealbreakers for me. When I finally get around to organizing my photos so I can share them with family and friends - I don't want to have to only upload a small number of them per month - I want to do them all. I imagine that after the initial batch, there won't be as many - until I digitize my slides - then I'll have another batch, etc. I know folks like Flickr - but those 2 limitations are big ones for me. I finally found the full list of services that can be used with framechannel - it does also include smugmug - and picasa, photobucket, webshots, flickr, facebook. Only photobucket and picasa will work on my Tivo. If there were a way to access my photos from my computer to my Tivo (and there must be) - then I wouldn't have to worry about using a hosting service to view photos on the tv - and I could just use the service above the most meets my needs. Anyone know if I can get my computer's photos to show up on my Tivo (I know this is getting far afield of the topic). I think using multiple hosting services will be a hassle for me - so as good as imageshack sounds, if it doesn't work with framechannel, it might not be best for me. before I rule it out, Raven, can you tell me what the firefox extensions for imageshack allow you to do that's so handy? I would like easy of uploading, no limits on how much to upload or store (although I don't imagine storing tons - I do think it would be more than 200 pictures - and periods of more heavy uploading than others), good organization. I guess so far it's between photobucket, picasa and smugmug. Further pointers and considerations are still appreciated. Lynn.

Thanks. I did learn as someone said, that hot glue is not good for outside use. We had a good rain one day and 2 of my stars feel off. I took them all of and removed as much of the hot glue as I could. I used a hair dryer to soften the glue and scraped it off. I used Elmer's Carpenter's Wood Glue to put them back on, and all have stayed on. That was back in early June. I think I'm going to leave it up all year round.

Keep the art in frames that complement it. It will still look fantastic not matching the household finishes. In fact, it may make your art stand out further (in a good way). I think there is nothing wrong with matching finishes, but there is also nothing wrong with not matching finishes.

Congratulations Karen! I'd suggest contacting a Creative Memories (I think CM is online) consultant, since they have lots of diecuts and stickers with them along with tools. They're a home-based business similiar to Tupperware or Longaberger baskets. They do have the individual pages (12"x12") but usually have to order the album for a later date. Mine didn't have the colorful paper, saying something about too many things on the page would weigh it down. I think that's because their albums use "strips" of... bendable plastic to hold the pages together. If you can get to a hobby and craft store, or even a Walmart, they have pages together in a booklet in different Themes (vacation, baby, etc.) Best of luck!
