Thanks dadoes, My husband just called from where my son is filming and said that they finally got it uploaded. They had to borrow someone else's camera, and then they were able to upload the film to the computer for editing. Yes, I meant a cassette, and yes, the camera and computers have a firewire connection. We still don't know why the big camera wouldn't let the upload happen......but I think you might be right about needing some software. Unfortunately, his T-Com instructor had never used this model, and probably didn't even know you needed the software. As a last resort, they borrowed someone else's little home camera, and it allowed them to upload it to the computer.......so all is well. Crisis averted! Although my son will be up all night editing.........but that's better than not being able to do it. Now on to the next crisis. ;) Thanks for your help.

I'm going to take another wild guess here Pooh, did you by chance load the software with your antivirus program running? Your antivirus may have messed the program up, you might try uninstalling it turning your av program off and re-installing easyshare. With you not able to open the program at all I think something screwy happened to it. Some of the programs you get now are really funny about antivirus programs too. Hope that helps.

Thanks Debra.I will try that.I have been to a lot of places looking for help all day, since noon and havegot no where.It has me pulzzled as whats the problem.I have never had a memorycard fill up so fast before either.I have always used a 2gb card, but the lady at wal mart put a 8MG in the camera. said they don't carry the 2 or the 4MG no moreshe had put a 8mg in it when I bought it, so figured it be ok.I always bought a new card each year, & each years blooms be together on one. card.Looks like this card will not be used if I cant find out whats wrong.I was leary about getting a Nikon camera anyway,as my thers were cannon and Kodak. never a problem with them. I will go to this site andsee what I find out anyway, Thank you.I had some beauties blooming this morning, but couldn't take pictures. jean
