Morning Glory pictures..

Here are some of my morning glories... hope you like them...

Plus can anyone help me out here, I have an "idiot" question.

How can I post pictures so they appear with the text here, as opposed to having them posted as a link?

I really like the way the light is shining through!
In order to post here directly you need a host site....I use PhotoBucket. You upload your pics there and resize them if necessary. Then, after the pic is on the host site, you click on tag, copy and then paste after your comments. At least that is how I do it with PhotoBucket.

Lovely flowers, love the backlighting, think it's backlit but can't tell for sure.

Here is how I code for mine. If you use pbase, I think you have to add .jpg. First try to copy and paste the url between the quotes and take the stuff I put in out.

Put a (tags) to the right, no spaces. It won't let me show you any other way.

The preview will tell you if you've got it right; the picture will show, if you get one little detail wrong you'll get I think a red x or it just won't show up.

This forum will not allow me to embed it from another gardenweb forum and I don't know where you may have it on the web or if you have it anywhere on the web. You have to upload it somewhere else than here.

Mine grow up an 8 ft lattice wall and keep growing along the top. This year I decided to prune them. I cut the growing tips until I couldn't tell the plants apart. I think the flowers and leaves are bigger this year than ever. Then again, it could be that I've grown fewer in each pot this year too (put lillies in the pots, thought I'd give them lots of room). No MF buds yet, but tons and tons of MGs (Heavenly Blue - my favorite). Can't help but grin ear to ear in the morning looking at them!

Early blooming morning glory, tall morning glory

My ivy leafed small light blue morning glories bloomed first and got to about four foot tall. The Early morning, or tall mix got tallest at about ten foot and bloomed much later. Because they needed to be sown after frost I didn't see a lot of difference between my direct sown and winter sown. I didn't use the best soil though and my drainage was bad. This year I'm doing more and will be direct sowing for ease of planting out.

Beautiful. I don't grow morning glories any more as they have become a breeding place for Japanese beetles. I am so discusted over the beetles they ruin my roses too.
