I made a mistake. Windows downloaded all the photos and deleted them in the time it took photoshop express to think about the matter and decided that it did not want to download them. I just took more photos and found the lost ones were in a folder. The problem is windows vista is competing with photoshop to be the downloader, and there is no way to make one of them dominate. But, I did not lose them after all. I feel so stupid. I am sorry to bother everyone.

I bought the latest version just last month and I'd forgotten all about it. Thanks you too. I will post the end result when I'm through with it...IF I figure it out. We had a false start Saturday, but 3/4 done right now and super happy! So glad ABB is almost a memory. I will post a shot without grout when they leave and another in a few days with the grout. Going with mapai white still and will use the keracaulk as advised. Thank you again. Anyone who is considering this tile - we have no regrets. It would go well with greens, grays, whites, blacks, and tans. It wouldn't interfere with a busy countertop (IMHO) and has enough variation to give some interest to our essentially solid black counter and white cabinets. A small number of tiles have imperfections, but they are the ones being cut for ends and corners, so not really wasted much.

I tried doing what is recommended for the color correction - making a photo of a "grey card" at the same location, then the plant, and using a first photo for custom correction of the white balance. The worse is the light - the more improvement you see. If you use daylight spectrum source of light - it is not really that much of a difference. When you are tweaking it by the photo editing software - the useful tool is "saturation" - but you only use it in a very subtle way. It gives a photo a little boost in a vividness of the colors... as long as you do not exceed 20%.. I would like to know how to produce "kodak colors" without compromising the palette... but so far it eludes me. It seems to me that the light requirements for growing, observing and taking photos - are 3 independent things. The easiest is growing - the plants are not picky - cool light, day light, LED... as long as we are in a ball park of usable wavelengths and intensity - they will grow. Means as long as you do not use incandescent bulbs as a main source of light- and do not under or overload them with not enough or way too much - they will grow and bloom. The way how they look - day light, grow light, full spectrum... there is a way to boost reds so the human eye perceives them as vivid. You do not take advantage of it - your reds will look like a dead meat instead of ruby reds. Because in reality the reds are all coral reds... The way how you make photos - you need brighter light - and probably some kind of a day light corrected source. Higher then the plants actually need for growing. Think about photo studio - with bright lights from the sides, staged background... specialized flashes... I talk too much ... as usual... Any ideas? Irina
