Sorry, but I don't grow Daisies. Have never had an interest in them, but once had a neighbor that loved Gerberas and had plants all around in her garden. I haven't noticed any white flowered ones available this year, at any of the nurseries I frequent. Your best bet would probably be ordering seed and grow your own or go to the Seed Exchange Forum and list your wants. If you have no seed to trade, you can often find someone that will send seed for a SASE. The Oxeye Daisy is an introduced species and can sometimes be found in scattered locations across N GA. Good luck! Here is a link that might be useful: Seed Exchange Forum

Hi Rodney, I was at the Northridge show Saturday and Sunday, about 7 miles from where I live. Enjoyed the hawaiian music show, so much. Wow, wow --- I don't usually post on this forum but am an avid reader but wanted to drop by and say mahalo for sharing all your photos. I'm from Honolulu but now transplanted in Virginia and your Hawaiian pride and aloha spirit really shows in all your posts and pictures. Your picture of the saimin/malasadas booth has me craving so I think I need to put some spam and rice on the stove before I go to bed. I always look forward to your picture-filled posts and thank you from the bottom of my heart for being so generous with your photos. Have a great weekend. E Malama pono, Pax =)

I WOULDN'T HAVE BOTHERED IF I'D KNOWN IT WOULD TURN OUT TO BE YARD-LONG PROSE.......................................................................................... THE OXEN Christmas Eve, and twelve of the clock, 'Now they are all on their knees,' An elder said as we sat in a flock By the embers in hearthside ease. We pictured the meek mild creatures where They dwelt in their strawy pen, Nor did it occur to one of us there To doubt they were kneeling then. So fair a fancy few would weave In these years! Yet, I feel, If someone said on Christmas Eve, 'Come; see the oxen kneel 'In the lonely barton by yonder coomb Our childhood used to know,' I should go with him in the gloom, Hoping it might be so. Thomas Hardy, 1915 This was first read to me by an Irish radio dramatist (for BBC radio) called Eric Ewens who is now dead. He knew Sam Beckett; he followed the poet WB Yeats through the streets of Dublin when he (Eric ) was a student there; he had digs near where Maude Gonne lived and saw her frequently. Apart from all that, what a wonderful poem! Don't we all hope that it might be so? And Merry Christmas to all my friends at RP: 'Nadolig Llawen', as we say in these parts. Dido. WHAT'S WRONG WITH THE LAYOUT ON THIS FORUM? HOW CAN ANYBODY READ THIS WONDERFUL POEM WHEN IT APPEARS WITHOUT ANY LINE-BREAKS? WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO RP?
