2008 Northridge Ho'olaule'a Festival Pix !!!

HEY GARDENWEB FOLKS !!!

May 31st - June 1st marked the Annual Northridge Ho'olaule'a Hawaiian Festival in Northridge, Southern California !!!

With so many great vendors out there, it was not an event to miss !!!

Great Food, Music, Entertainment, and ... PLUMERIA !!!

Below are some of my pix taken the first day of the event on Saturday ...

Then it was time for some HAWAIIAN FOOD !!!

KAHLUA PORK AND TERIYAKI CHICKEN AND MAC SALAD AND STEAMED RICE !!!

Then it was time to see ... ISLAND PLUMERIA !!!

SOOOO MANY GREAT PLUMERIA ON SITE AND FOR A GREAT PRICE !!!

Many Many named varieties too !!!

With SO MUCH TEMPTATION, I walked away with this bad boy ... Marino's Rainbow !!!

Then heading over to the neighboring Festival I ran into Brett from SO CAL TROPICALS !!!

Where he had PUDICAS !!!

And SINGAPORES !!!

After the great times there at the HO'OLAULE'A it was time to head to the ...

All in All a wonderful time there at the Northridge Ho'olaule'a and the LA Zoo !!!

Rodney: I just wanted to let you know how much I love your zest for life. You take the time to see things that many of us take for granted. Thanks for all the pictures you take and share. Hope I can meet you sometime at some plumeria event. Thanks again.

Hi Rodney,
I was at the Northridge show Saturday and Sunday, about 7 miles from where I live. Enjoyed the hawaiian music show, so much. Sunday's show was the best, my daughter and I sat and enjoyed for a couple hours. .

That dwarf pink singapore you showed, think was mine! I bought it, am thrilled in bud. Loved the pictures, looked to see if I was in the pictures, nope, but did enjoy.

Hi Hawaiianbuilt - Is this every year at this time? I may have to take a trip out - your photos are great! Thanks so much for posting them. I want a Save The Honu sign! and those Pudicas and Singapores looked good too. Thanks!!!
