The water in the second one looks more like mercury - how did you do that?

I am new and have no idea where to start-and I have LOTS of ants

Ants are an unsolvable problem, spraying only kills workers, and then you can not eat your crops. I was told to buy a bait to have the workers take back to the colony to feed the queen. No queen equals no workers. I bought every type of bait on the market and the ants would not touch it. They were too smart. If someone knows a cure for ants please post that. Try the soil forum, and add lots of compost. It costs a lot of money to buy a lot of compost and add it. It's a huge investment, but there is not much that can be done about the cost of it. Making compost takes time and also money for bins or other products to add to compost mainly browns or else you need lots of leaves. I have page up on my website about composting, if you want to read all my suggestions. Click on the soil link. Here is a link that might be useful: My website

luvstocraft, how ya doing? We will be moving into the new house so close to the holidays I'm not sure how much interior decorating I'll get done. I went after Christmas and purchased a lot of outdoor decor items and hope to have them up to enjoy. If I do, I'll post some photo's. I love the recipe section of that site you posted. I generally give food treats as gifts and I found a few new ones for this year.

Problem solved. I decided to purchase a new dispenser tray and was pleasantly surprised that LG had updated the dispenser. LG added a small hole in the bottom. Thank you, LG. No more overflowing dispenser, no more puddles on the floor. For WM3900 order this part from LG: AAZ75735901

I will definitely be putting: string lights, an outdoor rug, some curtains, etc. I already have that mosaic table, and a colorful banner. Now, they already put a clear sealant on the wood. The color isn't my favorite but I may leave it that color for now and see if I can live with it. I do like the red color of the wood they used for the trim. I may paint the roof blue. And possibly stain the concrete. Am also thinking of a gel pad under the rug (the kind sold for where people stand a lot) for an exercise/aerobics area. Concrete by itself is a bit too hard on my knees. And maybe a small water garden or feature. This post was edited by Violet.West on Sun, Feb 2, 14 at 15:47

the light was just an overhead incandescent, iso 400, flash on, ev set to 0, f2.8...and no tripod was used...

i may have danced all around your question, as i am not yet really familiar with all the camera terms and meanings....

and as far as the second one lookin like mercury, i saw that in it as well....guess i just got lucky...i took about 40 pics total, and kept those plus one more out of the bunch...in particualr on the second one, i liked how the drops surrounding the impact point had a "lit up" appearance.

I love these photographs. What was the water contained in/by? Was it a glass bowl or a sink or a pond? Were you pouring water from above? Using an eye-dropper? A faucet?

they are in a black coffee mug of all things. i first tried the kitchen sink, and then used the shower to get a further fall and more splash. I believe these particular shots were in the shower stall...I started using a white cup, but after those turned out ridiculously bright, i went to black.
