I know! I have that Milky Way and it is just so delicate and pretty. Very different from the classic one. I'm really partial to the balansae, too. The leaves are really neat looking, kind of like lightly varnished craft paper. And the bicknellii. Its leaves are so succulent and beautifully shaped - one of those very decorative Hoyas. Personally, I have my eye on Joni's favorite anulata and the Moonshadow. Joni describes the variegation of the latter to be a bit tricky to maintain and bring out and I like that challenge. CB was selling a H. publicalyx Appaloosa last week (apparently not for the lackadaisical grower) and posted an impromptu mini lecture on how to properly prune cultivars that I was happy to read. Unfortunately I need to replace some expensive bulbs, so I don't know if I'll make this month's sale or not. pooh!

Shall we start a thread on them again? Ruthie, you're quite a surprise. Didn't know you were one who likes to block aisles and doesn't understand the term "excuse me". I was raised to move if blocking the aisle and someone said excuse me. Perhaps it's a local thing? I guess we learn something every day don't we? Must be having a bad day when you have to make up things to complain about. "...post a long diatribe about everything including the number of hours the employees are allowed to work..." Uh, exactly where did I talk about employees long hours and the like! Did you accidentally get some fiberglass in the washer with your underwear? Fall down in the cockleburrs? Sheesh! LOL And of course the tyrades by the "holier than thou" who feel they should decide who posts, what they post about, and their overworn cliches, well it's interesting and dang amusing to read the posts. Don't worry. I'm not offended. If you haven't learned by now I have a very thick skin! Political correctness isn't high on my priority list. Being an old cripple I learned a long time ago that there's two things about certain people I don't like - their face. Curious to see how many must use multiple mirrors! Since this forum is so often the cyber church it's only appropriate isn't it for another deity to come out. The Walmart worshipers are likely on their knees praying to their deity-du-jour, pop open a bottle of Sam's Choice for communion, making up things to throw temper tantrums about and more. Guess following forum rules is a buffet thing these days. Take the ones you like and leave the rest. :) Happy shopping people!

Early on, we were shopping in person as often as picking up at curbside - taking turns and taking precautions. My neighbor, doctor, scolded me. Said, so what if you get an occasional apple you wouldn't have purchased. It's an apple. You are safer not going into the store ;0) I thanked him for his concern but we quietly continued our habits. I'm finding mine harder to change, maybe getting old ;0) I really prefer picking out my own produce and proteins. Canned and jarred things I'm not quite as choosy about. When in Fred Meyer near my mothers one day, I had to wait for the stores shopper to step out of my way by the canned goods. It looked like he was filling orders for four separate shoppers at once with two carts, 4 assortments of bags as he talked out loud to himself to reinforce what he was doing. No wonder some mistakes are made. He looked like a teen, but I admit I'm not necessarily good at guessing ages.
