If you're looking at table #1 to put in dining area #2, measure, measure, measure. It looks to be quite large even if it were collapsed to a smaller dimension. You need 36-42" of space around it to pull chairs out and sit in them without hitting baseboards, walls or other furniture. If you want a rug under it, then rug should be 36-42" larger than the table so chairs don't fall off it when in use. And, you don't want the rug to run into the baseboards either. Are there only 5 chairs with it?

looks severely sunburned ... i would tip it out of the pot.. and look at the roots ... if rotted.. be done with it ... if active with new growth ... i would put it back in the pot.. and water properly for a month or 3.. and see if new leaves appear ... any leaf with green can still process light into energy ... and i would only cut one off for each new one that emerges .. if in 2 or 3 months.. its settled down.. destressed.. i would repot it as suggested above ... i dont like to heap stress upon stress .. lets deal with one at a time ... if you want to go thru all that.. or any derivation therein ... just to see if you can save it.. go for it.. but if its going to piss you off every time you look at it.. just be done with it.. and move on to a new plant .... ken

I was gifted an asparagus fern - s variety i believe- not sire how to spell. But it only has two or three stems an looks quite sickly. iam wondering if i should try to rehab it or try soaking roots and repotting?
