Houzz Tour: 1920's Spanish Revival home in Homewood, Alabama
I fell in love with this house when Becky posted her ideabook about freestanding bathtabs and included an amazing photo of the spanish luxury spa-style bathroom in this house. I was excited to see that the rest of the house is just as beautiful and unique and so I am very happy to share this project with you today.
The designer describes the house as "a reflection of its eclectic owners: one, an avid collector of all things beautiful; the other, a closet modernist."
As a result, the house proper continues in a traditional style while the master suite addition introduces a warm, modern glass box situated in the private rear garden court.
What I like most about this house, is the harmony achieved between the new modern design and the old spanish charm. Love it.
