She has posted occasionally. Wonder where firemanswife is? We all have slow periods of posting.

Hopefully they are both far away from this place. The KT used to be such a fun place to be but not anymore. Too many mean people just waiting to pounce on you. Both Glenda and FMW have been victims. I would not blame them if they never came back.

Pineapple Casserole-Miss Glenda's 1 (20-ounce) can pineapple chunks in juice 1/2 cup sugar 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese DO NOT USE PRESHREDDED, grate your own. PRESHREDDED does not work with the pineapple 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted 1 stack Ritz crackers, crushed Drain pineapple, save 3 tablespoon of juice. Combine sugar and flour; add cheese, pineapple and pineapple juice. Mix well. Put in greased 8 x 8-inch baking dish. Mix crushed crackers and melted butter together; sprinkle over pineapple mixture. Bake for 30 minutes at 350*F or until browned and bubbly Serves 6.

glenda, Don't plan on a leisurely stroll from one gate to the next in Paris, with perhaps time to browse the airport shops or to get a quick bite to eat. Based on my experience, going from VA through Detroit, with a two hour layover in Paris, before continuing on to Zurich a couple of years ago, two hours should be enough time, but there won't be much extra wiggle room. On our trip, we had to take a bus from the plane to the gate, wait in line for another bus from one part of the airport to another. Then wait in a long, slow security line after that bus. Followed by a lengthy walk trying to find the gate which wasn't marked well with signs. When we finally got to the gate they were already announcing the last and final boarding call for our flight. We boarded the last bus to be driven to the plane and were among the last five people to board the flight. I don't think you should panic or try to change your flights, I just want you to be aware that the logistics of CDG Airport that could make two hours be a tight connection. At least it is on the end of your trip where if something goes wrong, like your flight from Barcelona being an hour late, and you miss the connection, it wouldn't screw up your cruise; you'd just get home a day later. Have a great trip.

LindaLu, I thought about your SIL when I saw some pictures of the devastation in Forestdale. I hope all his co-workers made it out okay too and I'm glad he and family are okay. There were cluster cells of tornados formed but not related to the F-5 that hit Tuscaloosa and north Birmingham. Twice last night there were 17 to 18 just outside of Centerville that moved through south Shelby County into Coosa County. CatLady (Judy) may have gotten some weather off of those systems so she may be without power or phone service. It was dark by then so the storm spotters live coverage was challenging. Hopefully, she and family are okay and spared damage or tragedy. Maybe some of the other Alabama peeps can check in soon with a first hand report and let us know how they have fared.

I am not mean! I work full time (more than full time) and don't have the chance to get here as often as I would like! I LOVE the sense of humor, neighborliness (sp?) and conversation - keep it coming!

Mama G got married or at least she is trying to make all her neighbors think so. That new man she met at the buffet has moved in with her and they are currently living it up on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean. She will be back ASAP but may be in no condition to post.........She told me not to let out her secret but that her life has taken on a new meaning but she wouldn't stop long enough to explain. She said she is already desperate for new lingerie...............She said that she was in touch with a few others and to tell you privileged people to feel free to share her messages so come on now and tells us what she told you.....

Sorry Ruthie but if I shared the details of what Glenda and her new man are doing I'm sure this post would get pulled by some prude. I just hope she doesn't break a hip.

Ha Ha you see, I absolutely knew she was out in the Lingerie Dept but obviously she's already wearing the new stuff..,,,Oh my Gawd...I just noticed that they are lighting cigarettes in the pic she posted... .Glenda!
