Very good- we drink 2% milk. Whole milk tastes like cream to me and I just as soon drink a glass of water and swallow a calcium tablet as use skim milk.

We used to have assignments [at Karen's time] starting with some letter in the alphabet...all I remember the last letter was C, when I posted Cattles. Anybody likes to carry on? Konrad

Konrad, My brother and I are volunteers for the national parks. Several times a year a group of guys and gals play the years 1859 thru 1872. Those years, the the Royal Marines and the US 9th Infantry Company D occupied the San Juan Islands. Look up the "Pig War". Most soldiers playing the Royal Marines are Canadian. In August is the big weekend we call Encampment. (See link below) Friday night until Sunday night, we stay in character as it were 1860. The first photo above was taken with a 19th century camera. Second photo, digital, 4th July parade So to answer your question, yes reenactment. Eric Here is a link that might be useful: San Juan History

Julie, thanks. I have no idea what it is called- not even sure where it came from but probably one my mother brought with her when she moved in with us back in the '80s. I always call it a double orange daylily. They can be very pretty some years and other years just so so. I fear this is going to be one of the off years.
