Thank you all, I am glad to be able to share some photos. Love to be able to look out early and see nature all around. Anneliese - there is a frog concert in the evenings, mostly peepers, but when it's warm enough the Bullies are adding the bass-notes.

Hi tepelus, the coneflower Hot Papaya is a great grower here in N. GA. I bought all my coneflowers from McGlauflin's (Web add: http://mcgperennials.com/). You can buy plug size plants from them for a good price (IF you buy at least a few plants from them due to the shipping cost). The plants were in great conditions when they arrived through the mail. They have all lived and bloomed. The plug-size coneflowers grow quickly. Also, there is a forum for coneflower that you can get great information on various cultivars (Web add: http://cubits.org/echinaceas/). There is also a seller (sweet65splitty) at Ebay who sells recently introduced plug-size coneflowers (and other plants), I have not dealt with her, but please let me know if you have make purchases from her before. THANKS.

Have you tried a pearl catch? It's like one of those long grabber claw things, but much smaller and finer. Can you get directly to the screw? Could you use really fine needle-nosed pliers or hobby tweezers? Can you get a screwdriver to the end of the screw itself, like you were doing it up? My thought is, if you can get to that part and have a cheap screwdriver you don't mind messing with, you could put a dot of JB weld glue on it (very strong two-part stuff) and them engage it with the screw and let it set (you'll have to prop it in place) or some other sort of fast-setting glue - maybe 5 minute epoxy....it hopefully will give you enough grip - downside is you'll have to dig the glue out of the screw slots to re-use it, and if you use JB weld it won't be easy. (I used JB weld to pull a broken-off quick release drill bit out of a bit holder - it worked perfectly. If you can get behind the screw, maybe you could hook it with a j-shaped wire, or even a cable tie?

Mtnrdredux, I've got many of them, purchased over a year and a half or two. I know you really liked the one in the bathroom, and so did I, but I didn't really like the gold part of the inner frame. So I finally found a silver toned one and swapped it out last week. I also ditched the antler collage and put in an oil horse painting, moved a small antler over to the small wall by the fireplace, moved the new one (well, new at the time) down to the dining room above the secretary desk, moved the one that had been in the bathroom up to the master bedroom, and moved the one where that one now is to over by the tartan chair and curtains. And then there's the two I've had: one in the canopy room and the ship one between the windows in the living room. You really cannot beat them for $50 - $80 a piece (assuming they're right for the space). New bathroom one: New living room horse one: Above the desk one: Relocated antler where that painting used to be: Canopy room one: Two in master (one old, one moved from bathroom): Old one in living room between windows: And here's the damn door I've spent a month stripping and repainting and finding matching door hardware and polishing the brass mortise, and getting a matching skeleton key and tassel for the bathroom. So, it's done; it just needs to be hung, and I need to get some nice cast iron or black hinges. And the new antique (made in England) brass spittoon I bought for the orchid on the dining room mantel and the antique brass and cast iron andirons in the fireplace below: This post was edited by KevinMP on Wed, Apr 24, 13 at 23:13
