Forgot to mention, I actually have Euphoria, which is Hulthemia persica hybrid. It is quite funny story with that one, since I got it last year in a pot and at some point forgot to water, so poor thing dried completelly! As in all dry leaves, ground away from the pot wall by like 1 inch gap, horrible in other words. I was rather certain that I killed it, but still placed it into the ground and watered. It got leaves back and at the moment is about 3 feet wide nice low shrub, as if the accident never happened. Completely clean for me as well, grows in a bit of shade and does not get any extra care really. Rebloom is pretty much continuous, just never a lot of blossoms at the same time.

gmom74, When I adopted Jacob, he already had this bracelet or anklet. I can't tell if he got tangled in wire or someone shaved a ring around his leg or what. It's an interesting ring of white hair.

Chris rates this as an outstanding novelty. He says, 'I started work with the Persica hybrids in the early eighties when I purchased 'Tigris'. My hybrids, crossed with 'Baby Love', were a step forward in disease resistance on the earlier Harkness hybrids and one, 'Chewtiggle', won an award at St Albans. But they needed old wood to repeat and though 'Tiggle' did repeat it stopped flowering in September. 'Tiggle' proved a dead end. I fortunately had a small group to help me with my project on the understanding that anything of worth came to me first. Ronnie Rawlins from Fixby, Huddersfield joined later and received 'Tingle' rather than 'Tiggle'. Fate decreed that 'Tingle' produced two usable hybrids and from these real progress is now being made'. 'Eyes for You' has 4" flowers in trusses in a mauvy-lilac shade with a very large purple blotch at the centre of the flower. The impact of the flower colouring is very dramatic. The plant is short, bushy and free flowering. There is also an outstanding fragrance inherited from Blue for You. From the References section on HMF. From this statement, it is easy to extrapolate that Bull's Eye and Eyes for You are very likely sister seedlings. From Tom Carruth, Week's tested both but couldn't get Eyes to produce sufficient Grade 1 plants, but Bull's Eye does. Eyes doesn't mildew, but Bull's Eye does, and it's the one which got released here.

yeah, it was that glaucous, almost turquoise foliage which got me too. Mine is just ramping up to its second flush - one thing this rose does here, which I like a lot, is to have a massive all over spring showing then nothing at all until mid-August ...when you look in it's direction and realise it is absolutely bulging with buds...although this is one of the only roses I give a hard dead-head to stop it growing too tall. The later flush is as generous as the early one (and in a mild year, there is another go-round in late October). I have mine growing with phlox which neatly mirror the dark- centred two-tone blooms.
