Thanks ladies. It is a crazy angle for sure. I think that the butterfly looks like it may be worried about crashing. :o)

There is a beautiful landmark home near me that is now a restaurant. This house is all brick with columns that support the top and lower porches. Only thing is that the lower one does not wrap around, but frankly on this house, it doesn't need to. There have been several "newer" homes built in the area that have tried to copy it, but they just can't seem to capture the grace/quality of the original beauty. I am not able to get the picture to post, but how about googling antebellum homes? Look at the images and see if there is something similar to what you are looking for. Good luck!

Yeah, you could drive a truck over it. The inspector called it "way over code" but I think that's more of a commentary on how loosey-goosey our county tends to be. I saw a parade home last year with a deck over walkout basement that was all done with nails only. No joist hangers, ledger board attached to the brick, 4x4 posts. Unbelievable!

History speaks for it self, I am not the only one that believes in what you call fanciful using Jet streams to travel. You make it sound like they have to enter the Interior of the Jet stream where I am sure yes you will need more than a robotic balloon more like a very powerful drone to verify that and I am sure there are skeptic that want more proof in this theory and if scientist could strap a tracking device on the ladybugs legs to track them they would have already done that. Plain and simple logic it makes sense in a short period of time one fines large numbers of ladybugs gathered in large numbers in the high county where I believe they hibernate and from there in a short period of time they are all gone from that very same spot. Which leads to believe they do use the air currents perhaps jet streams the outer currents to get around? I am sure some would believe that the photos were photo shopped or manipulated I believe man walked on the moon. If you can prove other wise or have a better theory I am listening?
