I would like to try my hand at it too and haven't a clue. There are allot of sights that you could see in the 4 corners region. depends on your interest and ages of your family. I agree petrified Forest national park and Painted destert in AZ are real cool. Hubbell Trading post just outside Ganado was a cool stop when I was a kid. I got to work a loom and sign my name to a list of ppl that had worked on it. Canyon DE Chelly is pretty.. I never got to go to the 4 corners monument all the 11 yrs I lived in the area. when I was a kid and we were traveling no one wanted to stop because it had been sorely ran down. I have heard it has been fixed back up and is a real nice stop. If you are interested in historical Indian artifacts sites in North west New Mexico are Chaco canyon *if ya go there I recommend and all day* Aztec ruins is smaller but allot easier to access.. Mesa Verde national park is in south west Colorado. lot bigger that Aztec ruins. Durango just a hop skip and jump from Mesa Verde is a beautiful town they have white water rafting and Durango Silverton Train. Old down town is beautiful. you can go into old saloons for a drink. Purgatory is about half way between Durango and Silverton and they have an awesome summer toboggan ride down the mountain. Mind you.. I haven't gone in abut 20 yrs.. dang.. lol I know these are getting a bit off your beaten path.. but.. I really enjoyed going to these places with my grandparents from age 5-16. Hi Guys Here is my list...but first I have no electricity, so I rely on a woodstove as a heat source and it does go out during the night All seeds were soaked in jars of warm water for nearly 15 hrs before being placed into clip lock bags with a little warm water and then puffed up with air (I breath into them and when inflated I clip them shut...each morning I fill the cliplock bag with fresh warm water and immediately drain it off and refill with air...these bags are kept on a screen above the fireplace (the air temp is about 22C during the day ) and can get quite cool at night (we did have a mild frost one night but the kitchen is slightly warm still So all in all it is not real good conditions but the best I can provide As soon as some seeds start to sprout I plant all the seeds of that variety into punnets of soil (mix) and place these punnets inside polystyrene corn boxes on the rack above the fire When the majority of seedlings have opened their cotyledon leaves I bring them into the light (in the polybox in front of the window) and place glass over the box in order to strengthen them...as the day dims I place them back near the fire again I have successfully germinated about half of the seeds at present and only a few remain unplanted in their punnets The following are all of those relating to Patrina for bulking...
