It just wrapped up. The one Angel said outright that the only time Oct was around, is when the cameras were rolling, then she would feed one of the babies. Other than that, she left the house and was gone shopping for 12 hours at a time, and wouldn't let the nurses have a cell phone to call her.

Many things are wrong with this whole thing.

Oh yeah, they appealed to her to hire some security to keep the papprazzi at bay (they were awful, the way they swarm the house), but instead of spending the money there, she put in a jaccuzzi.

How the frick does she put in a jacuzzi? I have only THREE kids and there is no way that we could afford that right now. I have to scrimp and save to buy a new dishwasher! She makes me so bloody mad that I want to scream! I wish they'd just take her freaking kids away already and let someone take care of them that will give them the love and attention that they need! I saw her lifting one of the babies out of their carseat and was APPALLED at how she did it. She lifted them from under their arms- they are newborns you doofus! Support their back, and hips and neck for goodness sake! I was so angry. *sigh*

I agree with you Danielle ! She is a disgrace. Someone needs to step in and make sure those children have a chance in life. She doesn't want to be a mother...she wants to be a movie star and IMO, she isn't capable of either. This is one of those cases where the press needs to back off and send her a message. Beware--all you people in Los Angeles county are paying for this. She is welfare, and Kaiser is getting paid by LA county because they have to take so many patients from the system. Having dealt with Kaiser for so many years, they will do what they want to do for the orginization instead of the patient. My DH would be dead or blind if we had stayed with them YES there are some excellent medical staff there, and good medical service-BUT??????

Dr. Phil is clever. He stated that "Nadya wanted to be here, but I suggested she stay home with her children". He also stated twice, that he's instructed his staff to stay away from Nadya's home as he feels it is unsafe and intrusive to her (but he showed clips from other news teams at the house).

Yep, I watched it and boy did it get hot.. There is another part on tomorrow and it looks like it is going to get even hotter.. Gloria is going after nadya's attorney.. I think we will learn alot of what is going on in that house.. I think Octy Mom will regret doing this show.

Gloria Allred seems always to rise up when high profile cases occur. I think she likes to be in the spotlight.

I don't know why this bugs me, but she keeps saying "my nannies." They are not "her" nannies, they are her childrens' nannies. It's all about her.

Gloria Allred and I have not seen eye to eye on more than one occasion/legal incident, but I'm on her side on this one. It was Gloria Allred who wanted the authorities to step in and remove the children from OctoMom, and when it didn't appear that this would happen, she was instrumental in getting the Angels in Waiting to volunteer nanny services. Gloria is looking out for the children's best interests. OctoMom disgusts her as much as OctoMom disgusts us.

I recorded it and will watch it later....I have never liked Gloria allred. Sad to say but Dr Phil does this too! She sticks her nose in everywhere for the spotlight. I find her so annoying! This octo mom is burning all of her bridges...if the kids do get taken away it's all on her. she is doing everything to ruin herself. Whacked for sure!

One thing I have to agree with her on though. Allred really is abrasive and probably was a negative influence in the house. But the nurse isn't that way. (Never even heard of Allred before this.)

Also agree, Dr. Phil gets involved where he doesn't belong. He is a big child advocate but this is pure ratings.

Several weeks ago Judge Judy was on Ellen and at that time was asked what she thought of OctoMom. Her response was basically shame on her but moreso, shame on the people that are feeding her need for publicity, even those doing it under the guise of 'helping' her. She more or less called out Dr. Phil. Even ET has said they will not cover her.

As for Gloria Allred always "being in the spotlight" and "sticking her nose in" ....she is a high profile attorney and a high profile attorney is tagged that because they are known to handle high profile cases. Considering her status, I find her to be a very nice person. She seems to have much concern for the "victim" in these high profile cases and I definitely believe these children are precious little victims.

She can't even talk so you can understand her. She talks really fast, so it sounds like she knows what she's talking about. Dr. Phil may be in it for the ratings, but at least she's being exposed for what a slacker she is. They say they don't want the children split up. But I don't see how they can do it any other way.

There is never any mention made of her mother any more. I doubt if she moved in as Oct mom wants to show that she can handle everything...yeah, right. She's handling all right...NOT! Allred said Suleman "violated agreements in the best interests of the children" by announcing when the babies would be released -- causing a media frenzy -- and then by allowing video crew to feed and hold the babies.

Suleman "always had an excuse" why she couldn't feed her babies, Allred continued, saying that she only spent eight hours in the nursery, and one went "days without being bathed." (Earlier on the Today Show, Allred claimed Suleman only cares about her babies "when the cameras are rolling.")

Oftentimes, "Nadya would come back from shopping and not even visit the nursery," Allred went on.

Allred e-mailed her concerns to Dr. Phil McGraw Sunday morning. Shortly after, she received a letter from Suleman's attorney terminating Angels in Waiting's service.

Also during the press conference: Allred alleged that Suleman's home was not secure enough to keep trespassers away. Octo Mom said she couldn't afford security, but Angels in Waiting president Linda Conforti-West said she was paying to install a jacuzzi tub and expensive dishwasher.

Another nurse with the charity, Jackie Peebles, said the nursing staff Suleman hired to replace Angels in Waiting had language barriers, three tested positive for Tuberculosis and others had "terrible coughs."

Peebles added: "The lack of parenting skills was evident."

In a statement released to Usmagazine.com, Allred said Suleman created a "dangerous environment."

"Nadya has decided to have Kaiser Permanente [Hospital] care for her babies. In other words, she has apparently made a conscious decision to put the burden of her babies care on the tax payers, since her lawyer Jeff has conceded publicly that Kaiser nurses will most likely have to bill [Medicare]," Allred 's statement continued. Angels in Waiting worked on a donation-basis.

Dr Phil did have a link on his site for donations to fund Angels in Waiting's (free) assistance with the babies. Since there were only a few donations Angels then agreed to just train nannies that were paid for by someone else. Dr Phil no longer has a link for donations.

Today's show ought to be good as yet more of Oct mom's bad decisions are told. She would have been wise to have kept Dr. Phil on her side, but now he seems have washed his hands of her.

The jacuzzi was mentioned by that key Angel who was with Gloria Allred one the morning show yesterday and again this morning. So please don't be mad at me, cause it wasn't mentioned on Dr. Phil. I'm sure it will be today. They are livid about it. No money for security, but money for that.

I had the same thought as some others here: Jacuzzi+14 kids = big trouble.

I feel sorry for the babies. Even with 10 kids at home now, it would be almost impossible for any mother to spread herself so thin. The babies aren't going to know who their mother is--the lady with the fat lips or one of those other ones. And as for the TB--that's shocking!

I have Dish Satellite and the local channel which Dr. Phil is on and the Dish are in a huge financial disagreement so I don't have that channel available. Football fans were FURIOUS over this disagreement, which has continued since December.

I lost all belief in Dr. Phil's integrity over the Britney Spears fiasco when he went to the hospital and was going SO obviously planning on using her for a ratings bonanza. I was very glad that didn't work out, I also feel he is a ratings (money) whore.

However, I always felt he did have good nuggets of rational and common sense advice for those who weren't seriously ill and in real need of a REAL psychologist as opposed to a past gym owner who became licensed in only a couple of states and for the vast majority of his pro career was as a advisor on jury duty pools. Remember, this is how Oprah came across him, she hired him to analyze the jury pool in her "red meat" legal problems in Texas.

When I heard he was involved in this mess, I thought he could do a bit of good because of this premise: the more she talks, the worse it gets and that might be key in the future best interest of her children. What she says ends up forever on tape, she can't unring those bells. Enough talking will add up to continued questions, hopefully.

I, also, find Allred a publicity whore, but her involvement might end up being in the best interest of these children also.

If she gets too P.Oed at Nayda, she might be very instrumental in the future outcome of these kids due to her influence in the State's involvement with the mother of the children.

I kind of wonder if this has not been her adgenda all along. "Offer, offer, offer and when it doesn't work out (which she figured out ahead of time that it wouldn't) the proof continues to grow for the removal of Nayda's decision power over these children's lives.

My fingers remain crossed that this is exactly what will happen.

Who knows though, this is one crazy world we live in. she might have the total decision control over all these children forever and the money might keep rolling in for her use. Much stranger things have happened in this country.

When the first two babies came home, why was the media there? Because Nadya let them know they were coming!

About the Jacuzzi? According to Nadya's rude, unbusiness-like, attention-grabbing attorney, the bath tub leaked, so it wasn't a real jacuzzi, just a tub replacement. But when her step-dad bought the house, did he not have a Home Inspection? HHMMM.

Is Nadya truly concerned about her children? Of course. She would be back to "exotic dancing" without them. She wouldn't even have to go back to get her degree.

I believe Gloria Allred is in this for the sake of the children; children are one of her priorities. She doesn't need the publicity; she is well known; she is not getting paid for this. Lawyer Jeff has ulterior motives and is on the pay roll. . . I guess.

As I understand it, the Kaiser nurses come every other day to "train" the nannies. The untrained, germ-laden, non-English speaking nannies are there 'round the clock.

Somebody has to be there while Nadya is out spending $1500 at a clip, coming home at midnight loaded down with shopping bags, (no groceries or formula?) and trailed by some of the older kids who should be in bed. BTW, are they going to school?

I saw Gloria and the nurse/nannie on some program this morning I don't usually watch the morning shows but stopped at this one. The nurse/nannie said they were very concerned about security since the floor plan of the house and area have been published and begged her o get a security system or guard but the mom said they couldn't afford it and got the jacuzzi instead

Everyone is making money off this situation--the mom, Dr. Phil, Alred, papparazi, and tons of other people. There is no good solution to what will be an increasingly problematic household. But greed guides them all.

People continue to watch this stuff and talk about it online and in real life...it's no wonder the media keeps covering it!

Today I heard on the radio that some of the nurses tested positive for exposure to TB. Lots of people test positive but never had the disease, and their x-rays are clear. That's probably what the situation was with these "nannies."

Yeah, it's like a soap opera, and it is shocking too how this could be allowed to happen. Hopefully, something can be learned here. And as a CA taxpayer, burdened with thousands of other people "on the dole" who shouldn't be and a State that is near bankruptcy, it is of concern. If philanthropic organizations can help her, it relieves the State of some of the burden.

The lips, the shopping sprees, her reluctance to admit that she made a terrible error--it's just an indication of her mental state, and it isn't good.
