faucets direct for me. I have bought from Ira Woods and it was a nightmare of an experience. They shipped immediately but the faucet was missing a part and they would NOT send the part. They told me to order it from the mfgr. Fine and dandy, but then I would be paying for that part and shipping when I already paid. I did the only thing I could do..a chargeback on my CC against them and ordered the faucet from Faucets direct. The part was going to take 2 weeks if ordered from the mfgr, and the faucet from Faucets Direct was going to be a handful of days. On my faucet both dealers were priced within $1 of each other

This is a subject that comes up about once a month and there are as many answers as thete are members because we all have had different experiences and have our favorites for different reasons. As the above poster says, though, the one that seems to come up the most often as a BAD experience is Ira Woods. I read and respond to some 30 forums and discussion groups daily (Im retired and disabled and have little life..LOL) and I see more bad about Ira Woods than any one else but fortunately not from my own experience because I've managed to avoid them.
As to pricing most online sites offer a price match or guarantee and some sort of free or discounted freight so price ceases to become as much of an issue as does service. "debbie 2008" got a good price but bad service from Woods and thus her problem. So regardless of who you settle on based on our comments here, call the vendor instead of just ordering online, ask them to match or beat the best price you have found in your online search and judge their attitude by how your phone experience goes. Ask questions, see how you are treated. This should go a long way towards giving you a comfort level and some trust that none of us here can replace. As to my preference, Natonal Builder Supply.

I second the recommendation of faucetdirect.com. They gave me a 110% price match to another website that had the faucet and sink cheaper than them. They told me shipping would take 7 business days, but I received it in 3. I've never had to return anything, but on their home page it says "No Restocking Fees on Any Returns."

We used www.faucetsdirect.com and www.needplumbingsupplies.com. The Franke prices at need we unbelievable. Both delivered in only a few days. Two of the faucetsdirect items were special order and they managed to arrive in a week.

Both offer discounts. Need will let you sign up for a newsletter and instantly send you an email with their coupons. Search the internet for faucetdirect coupons - I found either a 5% off or 10% off. If you can't find one, let me know.

I have had exceptional success with faucets.com. Their prices are very good with no sales tax or shipping charges. I recently purchased a single lever solid brass Kohler faucet. They carry many brands and styles in stock that are long special orders at brick and mortar stores.

Another vote for needplumbingsupplies.com They had great prices, and when I found one of the items cheaper on another site, I IM'd their customer service and they came down below the lower price! The shipment was well packaged and came quickly. Good luck!
