It's getting better and better, Elaine. Although for some reason I can't see the picture of the white table, another white table on that side sounds like a very good idea. One thing that struck me immediately was that some sort of red accent on the white window shades would really help to carry the red over to that side of the room. Love the little red pillows, by the way. I'm not sure how you would add the red but I think if it could be done it would really pull together the red theme. Your bathroom is gorgeous, and the flooring especially is really handsome. I'm so excited for you at how this all coming together so well. Oh, I just had a crazy thought. What would you think of painting the dresser white? It would add to the beach theme and make your beautiful bed stand out even more. (I think I can envision your husband rolling his eyes....)

I can see the white table now and wonder whether it's not a bit too angular compared to the other one. A lot would really depend on the size, since it looks very long on the picture but it must not be or it wouldn't fit in your space.

The white table is 46" wide, and would fit under the picture display very nicely. No, we won't be painting the dresser. Hubby is already a little stressed about painting the vents! LOL!

Red - you know, the funny thing is that when I first posted my pics, everyone said to "get rid of the red". Well...I did that, but need/want to keep the chaise. Now everyone is telling me to "add more red"! LOL!! I can't win. I have red on the white table, red on the bed, red on the print on the wall, red on the entire chaise. Why do I need more red? (whining now!! LOL!!)

Duh! I must learn how to read. I thought it was to be a bed side table. I think it would look great under the pictures; of course you'd want a longer table there, and that one looks perfect.

I love how your room is coming together. I love love love the red cushion. Your round table fits that place well and the green lamp is perfect.
The new white table would be OK under the photos I think provided it is not in your way at all. It looks in the photos like it might not give you much walkby room but I know pictures can be deceiving and you would be the best judge of that in real life.

It looks like you have a HUGE M bath. I'm jealous...I really like BIG bedrooms & BIG M bathrooms.

Your room looks fantastic! I remembered seeing it in another thread and admiring the beautiful colors then. Have you thought about another bedside table on that side of the bed? We have to have two in our MB for DH and I's individual alarm clocks and "stuff".

I LOVE the changes that you made. The table and lamp are perfect. The new table will look great there. You chose the right red for the other colors in the room. The coral theme is perfect for your desire to bring in a beachy feel yet keep it sophisticated.

Is it possible to move the side table just a little closer to the bed, or does that make it difficult to get in/out of the bed? It looks a bit forlorn in the corner.

boysrus2 - yes I think I need another table on the opposite side of the bed with another lamp. However I think I need a console type of table underneath the B/W. So I plan to use it as my "bedside" table. Same color, but different shape.

sheconquers - forlorn..LOL! yes, I agree that it does a little, however hubby doesn't want it too close to his bed, he hasn't had a bedside table and since our bed sits so high, as does this table, he's a little leary of having it too close. Actually since the table is fairly large (36" diameter), it fills that space pretty well.
