Hi PirateGirl, I use Yahoo.ca which is the Canadian cousin. My problems with yahoo has been that domains ending in Hotmail, Sympatico and Toni's (hopefulauthor) often come back as undeliverable. They did write to me to have me send all those emails to them so they can see what the problem is, but I have never heard back from them. This was a few weeks ago.... Oh yes I have been!! Sometimes when I'm replying...if I happen to need to scroll down to read the message I'm replying to again and than scroll back up the stupid message I was typing becomes narrower and narrower as I scroll! Sometimes when I go to attach pictures and click ok/go back to message, my attachments go thru but my reply is gone! ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! This has been over the last few weeks. Vera

My Yahoo web based free email account has two different interfaces. Classic & New Fangled Updated version. Maybe she can look around toward the top of the page and figure out how to switch to the version she isnt using. Classic opens your mail after you click the subject on a new webpage. I forget how the new fangled version works as I dont use it except by accident.

I have McAfee on one of my xp boxes because it is free with my verizon but I am in the process of changing to one of the free ones too just because I need to thin down that machine and McAfee is too large. I am going with Avast this time, the new AVG 8 has had a lot of issues so want to wait on that one till they get it all worked out. Avast is a very good program and many people moved to it that left AVG. If you go to the Avast link for download you can look over on the left they have 2 very good informative pdf manuals that give detailed install and use directions. avast! 4 Home Edition it is free but you do have to do a registration which is very simple and explained on the site.
