Inside out - right side in (laundry tricks)

About laundry.

I wash and dry my t-shirts that have logos inside out. They last forever, and rarely do they fade or crack. DH and I have some of the same shirts (bought as souvineers). He washes his rightside out. Mine always look so much newer than his.

I wash my pants right side out, then dry them inside out. Washing them that way cleans the surface dirt (dog hair, dog slobber, coffee drips, marker and pen marks, etc).

I dry them inside out to make sure that the pockets and waist band dries through. I absolutely detest a damp waist band! If I don't notice and put them away like that, it is humid enough here that they won't be dry a couple of days later...and might even mildew.

Admittedly, having to stick my arm into a cold, wet pant leg is quite dreadful. But I would rather that than a damp waist band.

So if you come and do my laundry and see that the t-shirts are inside out, then that is why. And I always unball my socks befor putting them in the hamper ;)

Dances.
